if you want it ➤ blaise + cho

There were many things about tonight that were very characteristic of Cho. Dark-coloured clothes, light make-up? Check. Having a glass of alcohol before ten in the evening? Check. Fifteen minutes early to a meeting? Make that twenty.
This was, however, no simple work meeting, nor was it any glass of alcohol. It was an oddly thick sangria she didn’t want to ask questions about, and Cho was at the Crimson on a date. When she’d gotten home from her dinner with Marietta, Cho realized she meant what she said: she really did want to start seeing people. Unlike before, it wasn’t out of a desperate desire to be anything but lonely, to have someone take the ache in her chest away. At least, that’s what Cho told herself.
“Waiting for someone, my delicious little petal?” The bartender had been customarily polite when she’d arrived, but there seemed to be curiosity in his strikingly blue eyes. He was incredibly beautiful, almost literally stunning. Cho found herself faced with a shyness she hadn’t felt in years.
“Y-yes, I am. He’s not late; I’m just early,” she said lamely, wondering how much pity the bartender had for her at this moment. Instead of saying anything, he refilled her glass, brushing his fingers against hers, and winked before turning to the other customers.
Ambitious and decisive. That’s the person she was meant to find tonight. Spinning around in her stool, she faced the entrance. With a description like that, finding him ought to be easy.
