Mollie Shirey is an adult woman slowly approaching middle age. She lives with her three kids in Ravenwood in a lovely community, and works as an author who writes both children's books and spicy novels. -Separately, of course. Mollie dreams of simple things; getting married, having pets and maybe getting another kid before it's too late. If she sounds like someone who would make your heart skip a beat, take this chance!

Magnus McGill, Maggie to very specific and close friends, famously known as the Red Swordfish and celebrity chef of Del Sol Valley to everyone else.
Magnus grew up one of seven children, he didn't have the awe of the first born, nor the charm of the last, no, Magnus was somewhere muddled in between two other sons and an age gap that left him mostly alone and forgotten.
Two working parents and not a lot of money had him having to get creative in order to eat a nice meal every so often. He had a knack for it, picked it up fast, and it was fun. Once his siblings realized he could make good food out of not much he suddenly had value. It was nice having value.
And so eventually he saved up enough money from odd jobs at even odder diners to get himself into a good culinary school in San Myshuno. It was hard taking classes and working but he'd done harder things. He slept maybe 2 hours a day, sometimes just on the subway, and his apartment was just big enough to hold him and a sofa he called a bed.
And it went on like this until he worked his way up the food chain of several restaurants, picked up new skills, new dishes, rubbed elbows with great chefs, and made a name for himself winning competitions and challenges, then suddenly a network wanted to give him his own restaurant, his own show.
At 29 years old he was famous, people traveled to eat his food, to shake his hand, to sleep in his bed, no longer a sofa but a lush mansion at the top of Del Sol, view for days.
And years went on like this, fame, and money thrown at him, and shows, and multiple restaurant openings, and a marriage, Fiona, and a divorce, very ugly, and time slipped by and he accumulated wealth and recognition and value.
At 48 Magnus is what some would call jaded. It's hard to know when people mean what they say, that they will keep promises they make, that they will show up even when it's hard. At 48 Magnus has secluded himself in his large mansion at the top of Del Sol Valley. His reputation has plummeted thanks to grumpy interviews and no shows on set, and ok, maybe he did punch that camera man in the face but he'd deserved it.
Flustered and impatient agents have lined up reputation building events for him and At 48 Magnus feels like he's wasted so much time... and for what. A picture on his phone of a woman with long yellow hair is the latest event his agent promises will bring him back into the public's loving embrace. He's trying to decide if he gives one single f_ck what the public thinks of him when finds himself texting his agent that he's on for the challenge with the yellow haired woman.
He's done shows like this before, his agent is right, they do bring a lot of publicity, usually positive, but that's not why Magnus agreed to it, there's something about the woman that he likes, the downward slope of her mouth, the narrow curve of her eyes, the overall unimpressed vibe she gives off.. yet... she looks kind... might be fun if nothing else...
Say hello to Raman, an exhausted 40-year-old professor from Copperdale. After losing his wife only a few years after they tied the knot, Raman shunned romance and instead focused on his family, career, and interests. And he’s been happy with his life, really! He loves working as a professor at the local college, and he gets to spend lots of time with his sister, sister-in-law, and beloved niece who live in the area. He has lots of hobbies and a few close friends, and he feels content.
…But something is still missing: his soulmate.
Raman wants romance—to feel that big love again. To get married, and to start a family. But he’s conflicted. Does moving on mean forgetting his late wife? He knows finding love again doesn’t mean he’d be replacing her, and that there will always be a place in his heart for his first love. But finding someone who understands and accepts that—that a great love with someone new doesn’t diminish the old love that was or the new love that is—is easier said than done. Blind dates and Cupid’s Corner haven’t gotten him very far, so when Raman’s sister sent him Plumbob Studio’s casting call, he didn’t immediately reject the idea like he normally would have.
And when he saw Mollie’s photo, he found himself hopeful that a new great love could bloom.
Throwing caution to the wind, Raman decided to audition for The Bachelorette to see if Mollie could be his soulmate. Maybe it’s foolish to hope for another chance—maybe people only get one true love. But something about Mollie has struck a chord in Raman, and he knows he doesn’t want to miss his chance to find out if she’s the one.

Lukas grew up his first 20 years being an only child, he had great ambitions and wanted to own a business. But then his little sister Lara was born.
His parents were getting old and didn't have the energy - or want - to take care of a new child, especially with how wild she was, so Lukas dropped out of Uni and moved back in home to take care of Lara.
He paused his career and love life to do so and now that Lara is 18 Lukas finally is ready to continue his life by getting a job and marketing and hopefully finding love.

Ever since he could remember, Marc always wanted to be an actor. And so after graduating high school, he packed his bags, said farewell to his family, and moved out west to the land of fame and opportunity: Del Sol Valley.
While he didn't have much, his hopes were high and he had the ambition to back it up. But unfortunately, the fame and fortune never seemed to find him. Every now and then he'd book a commercial gig (you may recognize him from a decade-old Llama Bar advert), but most of the money he earned was from working odd jobs around the community.
His family thought he was crazy at 30 for staying out there, but pushing 50? Yeah, it's been a long while since they've talked to him. A disappointment through and through. But it's not just his family that feels that way, it's Marc himself too. Surfing sofas, repairing neighbors' appliances, and scrounging thrift-teas for discount t-shirts made him dedicated to his craft as a 22-year-old... now it's just sad.
"It's not really an acting gig, but it's still a show," are the words Marc's friend told him before showing him the social bunny post from Plumbob Studios. Marc never saw himself as a reality dating show type of guy, but he also never saw himself at this age without a steady job, wife, or kids. Maybe this would be a good opportunity to achieve even just one of those things. And who knows, maybe just being himself instead of pretending to be someone else will finally bring him some success.
