This story takes place after chapter 71, where LWJ comes to Yunmeng and meets WWX with his flower girls. Except in this fic, they have a drink and spend a night in an inn together. They do the do and the “impossible” happens. WWX still saves the Wens, minus little A-Yuan, but he’s there with them, even if WWX doesn’t know that yet.
In the Burial Mounds, this time around, things go differently and WWX gets frequent help and visits from his friend, including his Shijie and JZX.
WWX is 16 and pregnant and Wangxian being Wangxian, they pine for each other while miscommunicating pretty epicly. Turns out the Lan bros are absolute himbos, LWJ included.
In the end, everything ends well, and in this fic, it's the Qinghe-Nie Sect that takes the Wens in. NHS putting his best skills to use becomes a professional matchmaker. This is such a good read!
