🌿 Manifesto of the Ezer Rising: A Call to Maternal Leadership
🔥 Preamble
We, the women of the Ezer Rising movement, believe that the time has come—not for imitation of men, nor for domination over them—but for the restoration of woman to her original design: As the strong helper. The wise guide. The maternal leader.
This is not feminism. This is Eden.
🕊️ 1. We believe woman was created first in purpose, not in chronology.
Though Adam was formed before Eve, she was not made to follow—but to complete and lead him with nurturing authority (Genesis 2:18). She is not derivative—she is divine design.
🪨 2. We reclaim the word Ezer as our identity.
Ezer is not “assistant.” Ezer is the title God claims for Himself when He rescues Israel (Psalm 33:20, Deuteronomy 33:29). It means power, protection, wisdom, and spiritual strength. The woman is not weaker—she is the image of God's help.
🧬 3. We reject the curse of patriarchy—not the men caught in it.
Patriarchy is a result of sin, not God’s design (Genesis 3:16). Our movement is not against men—it is for their restoration, too. Men were never meant to rule, but to be nurtured, guided, and protected by women who walk closely with God.
🕯️ 4. We believe maternal leadership is the highest form of authority.
The world teaches power as control. But in Eden, power was relational, gentle, and formative. Women are called to lead as mothers lead:
With wisdom
With firmness
With compassion
With vision
Not to crush men—but to raise them.
🌸 5. We recognize the Holy Spirit as our feminine pattern.
The Spirit hovers, nurtures, comforts, births, teaches, groans, and leads. The Spirit is not masculine in action—but feminine in rhythm. We, too, will lead like the Spirit.
📜 6. We believe prophecy, Scripture, and history confirm our return.
Jeremiah 31:22: “A woman will encompass a man.”
Judges 5: Deborah leads not as a warrior, but as “a mother in Israel.”
Isaiah 66:13: God speaks as a mother.
Revelation 12: A woman is the sign in heaven—birthing what the world needs.
The age of maternal authority is not rebellion—it is redemption.
✨ 7. We call all women to rise—not in pride, but in purpose.
This is a call to every mother, sister, daughter, and wife:
To stop chasing male-shaped success.
To stop silencing your wisdom.
To stop hiding your power.
God has always meant for you to lead—not as a man, but as a woman filled with the Spirit.
🤍 8. We call men to lay down pride and rise up in trust.
To the men:
You are not being erased.
You are being healed. Let your wives lead. Let your mothers guide. Let your sisters teach. Let the Ezer rise—and you will rise with her.
🌍 9. We envision a world re-formed by matriarchal peace.
Where children thrive under wise women.
Where nations are shepherded with care.
Where churches listen to the Spirit through women.
Where husbands delight to follow godly wives. This is not utopia—it is Eden restored.
📣 10. We are the daughters of Eve—restored to lead.
We are not ashamed of our calling. We will no longer apologize for our strength. We do not demand power—we are power. We are Ezer. And we are rising.
So this is an excerpt from the Disciplinary Couples Club blog that I shared with Wifey recently. She seemed somewhat receptive, and somewhat like of course she already knew that. She even brought it up at the most inconvenient moment for me… while she was tanning my hide.
I sent it, and a few other thoughts, because it peaked my interest, but upon reflection I found that I agree completely. Most of what we do in our DD might be considered authentic “Maternal Authority.” Wifey is the Mama of the house, and she generally has no problem using that authority. I’ve found that the firmer, stricter, and “because I said so” she is, the easier it is for me to walk the line and thrive.
As for the inevitable “consequences,” I reluctantly agree with that too. When I am… ahem… receiving my comeuppance, the very last thing I want is for it to be harder and worse. But the above commenter has a solid argument. The discipline spankings I received as a boy were real tearjerkers, and I’d be kicking, squalling, and most often bawling before it was over. To scale that up for a full-size athletic adult man, I am apprehensive at best. But I want it to be serious, authentic, maternal, and most important effective. So if I need to be spanked much harder to the point of overwhelmed to get that equivalent experience…
I’ll regret this at some point. But yes, I agree.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I may not share it around the table, but today I am grateful for our relationship growth and commitment that has come through embracing Domestic Discipline. Of course most of all I am grateful to @strict-consistent-wifey who has stepped into and developed her role as my disciplinarian, and taken control as the Mama of our home.
I certainly did not think I would grow up to be thankful for strict discipline and regular hard spankings, but the results speak for themselves, and DD has done so much for us. Here is to more growth going forward!

Merry Christmas to all! I hope joy finds you and yours today. Be sure to stay off of the Naughty list this Season!
HH! and SCW
Had an incredibly busy week with the holidays ramping up. One of the comforts I take is that our household dynamic is never paused. We are a domestic discipline couple all the time. The consistency and sincerity really shine this time of year. I am grateful for it. Mostly.
If you will excuse me, Wifey reminded me recently that she owes me a time out in the corner. 🫤
