I managed to write all of Genesis 1 today for my goal to scripture write the entire bible. I had been writing Matthew, but it was slow progress.

I'm glad I managed to push myself today and find my groove with it. I don't care how long it takes me, I'm doing this for my relationship with The Lord.

Lesson: finding the answers at the core

Recently, there was one of you that brought something to my attention. I don’t doubt some of us have experience with other languages from either family or simple self study.

I myself have learned Spanish, French, a bit of Russian, and a bit of Greek.

What are you getting at? Well, in order to see whether something is true or not you go to the source don’t you? When it comes to the Bible, you go search up either the Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic.

Henceforth, given the rise of questioning whether LGBTQ is a sin or not, I’m giving a display of what the Greek says. This is Romans 1:26-28, and I’ve included the Hebrew and Aramaic at the bottom.

For in the end, many scholars can say something, so, why don’t we all put that to the test?

I challenge each and every one of you to read and search for yourself the translations presented. And then truly ask yourselves whether it’s a sin or not.

Occasionally I am hit with a sense of veneration in those low moments when I feel like nobody truly understands me, and the Good Lord presents me with an inspiration that is so delicately personal that any present doubt is promptly and completely shattered. I find myself having such a case in this very instant. Where being the curious little logophile that I am, I found myself inspired or guided in a personal scripture study to expound on a word that happened to be repeated to me offhandedly this week. The word being "sustained". In my studies, I found the most insightful definitions listed above as well as this scripture found in the fourth chapter of second book of Nephi (2 Nephi 4: 20-21): "20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

21 He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh." Or in other words AKA Po's Personal Translation:

"God has been holding me this entire time without me even truly realizing it. He has been there, listening and caring about the heavy concerns that weigh upon my heart. He is there. Especially in those places that seem barren and without any hope. He has kept me alive, preserving me in those moments when I feel inescapably buried, nigh unto drowning underneath the waves of the world. Nevertheless, no matter how deep and dark it may feel in those incomprehensible moments, He has been there with me this entire time."

Lesson: Heavenly Father knows me. Just as I witness that He knows you.

He knows of my affinity for words and connects them in such beautiful ways that faithfully testify He will not let me drown. He loves all of us, even when we don't feel it. He keeps that spark of life protected even in those dark moments when I have wanted nothing more than to be extinguished. How grateful I am that in His infinite care and mercy, Heavenly Father continues to hold me. Just as I swear to you today, that He is holding and sustaining you. ~Po
