“Dear Algebra, please stop asking us to find your X. He‘s never coming back, and don't ask Y !!“
Just took one of those thinly veiled IQ tests for a job application and I got one of those number sequences that you're supposed to find the next in the sequence for but I don't think there was a correct answer
Here is the sequence: 5, 3, 9, 13, 23
Baby girl what? I was running out of time so I clicked 37 which has to be wrong but I'm so confused
Are kims arms.. 1.3m long... a 2.6m wingspan. The the real cryptids are the friends we make along the way
Wingspan is measured from fingertip to fingertiwp which includes the length of the hands (0.5m) and the breadth of the back (1.1m) which aren’t accounted fo by the 1.3m figure, which measures sleeve length (arm length) only, so the real wingspan is probably something more like 2(0.5) + 1.1 + 2(1.3) which comes out to 3.4m (π)
3 hour study session☕️
taking the first longer break since I started at 3.30pm. after dinner ill probably continue with solving math problems. at least I got the latin presentation done. my head is hurting but I’m motivated :‘)
update, 10:30pm: switched to working on my term paper about an hour ago, google docs is making me loose my mind. But at least I finally have some words written down.
to do: solve math problems / study for exam
Adult math problem:
My doctor appointment is at 4:30, it's a 23 minute bus ride away but the bus stop is an 11 minute walk from here. The bus runs every 30 minutes and I want to be at the clinic 15 minutes early. What time should I leave work so that I can sit in the waiting room for 2 hours because the doctor is behind schedule?
A math problem I heard about, that I thought you might find interesting:
We have a burger patty, and a ketchup packet.
We don't know how much ketchup is in the packet - the only way to know is to use it all.
What's the optimal path we can draw on the burger patty, in order to minimize the average shortest distance to ketchup for any given point on the patty?
If you are a math teacher please for the love of god don't use IXL
