I was considering sneaking in to the tutorials for my classes at different times to see if the other tutorials were different and better for me than the ones I enrolled in, but after considering for longer I've decided the best option for me is to actually not go to any classes at all, but stay at home and study all day.
#to enable the time-switching i already decided not to attend maths this week (i am very confident on baby matrix algebra)#but physics already has previous years' tutorials recorded and available so i could try that out instead of a different time slot#and materials the physical tutorial experience of group work with ppl who haven't read the content is only half the problem#the way the class is taught and structured drives me nuts. sitting with a different group of students won't help with that#i think i will be better served staying home reading the textbook chapters that weren't assigned but seem assumed knowledge#and catching up on the extra post-tut sets of slides they put out every week which i resent deeply seeing for the first time in class#they are full of new material i would very much like to have had access to before the class that i am meant to be prepared for#but alas
