Every now and then I look back at this blog and the entire Miraculous Focus on it and I feel bad because I've stepped back except for Felinette and Maribat, pretty much, and there's stuff that hasn't been finished yet, but I always tell myself it will be because I am pedantic and barely ever delete things.
Anyway. Today is not the Rewind And Finish All Projects Miraculous day, although that day will probably be pretty Miraculous in and of itself 😉👉👉
Anyway, no this is me publicly claiming my twin/wbwl aus because they bring me joy and I wanna shout into the void for all who echo.
Titles and summaries under the cut-
Are these gonna be in chronological order? Only until Connor appears. If you don't know, Connor features in almost every branch of this chart and those bounce around.
Cobra Lily- Inspired by The Farland Files and a fic that's since been deleted and was also based off Farland Files; What if, instead of fighting against each other and the system, the abandoned children teamed up?
Eden's is not the only place Iris has ever known. But it is the one she knows the most.
Fished out of a building after a small town massacre and shipped across the country for long-term placement three days later, Iris has no ties to her dead-or-worse birth family.
Instead, Iris has Eden. Among the children, the name is an inside joke.
Jacinta Peréz, Florine Dupont, Clemencia Doe, Kamal Doe, Aletris Carson, and Hana Griffith call it their Garden of Eden.
The Garden is a good enough family anyway.
Hydrangea- Cobra Lily but I looked at it and myself and said why is the vibe so different genderbent, can I do this with a male Harry? The answer is yes.
Cobra Lily but instead of Iris Doe, future Dark Lady and friend of Charlie Potter, we have Hawthorn Doe, living dark artifact and secret metamorphmagus.
(Not) Our Parents (' Children)- I have so many explanations for this so maybe check the NOPC tag when you're done but for now 'WBWL au sautéed in found family and drizzled with chaos'
This is a story you know. In a sense.
Let’s try this, shall we? Once upon a time, there was a little boy destined to save the world- oh goodness I sound dramatic. Nevermind. You know that part. You know about the child soldiers and split souls.
So what about what you don’t already know? You don’t know of two little boys who decide to save the other instead. You don’t know the secret to immortality. And you may not know, however cliché it sounds, just how useful love can be.
They say the pen is mightier than the sword, and a wand can be both and neither. So let’s say love is stronger than hate - because it can be, of course. Let’s say… you can choose people you’ve already been given. Let’s say the only ties that matter are those you give power to- let’s say the only way anything has power is if you give it that power.
Now let’s say there are children. There are children in the 1500s and there are children in the 100s and there are children in the 1900s. There are children raised in war who wish for peace.
None of them have succeeded. Adversely, many of them have.
[Cathy, get to the point.]
[Timothy, get out of my office!]
[It’s our lunch break, Catherine. I was told to ensure you ate.]
[Thank you, Sally. Let me finish first, right?]
[Sure, but we’re watching.]
[Timothy, I’m recording, shut up.]
Let’s say that once upon a time a war was fought, and maybe it’s been won. Maybe it hasn’t been. But there are people living in its wake.
Black clawed his way out of a cave and won. Riddle threw three killing curses and left that many survivors. Potter cheated Death. Nott watched values degrade and mourned it. Peverell kissed her daughter goodbye. Lestrange laughed as she went to prison. Granger prayed to never see war. Warren died screaming. Zabini betrayed his beloved. Norman choked on smoke and ash. Weasley looked over a battlefield and saw the living overlay the dead.
Because this is what Weasley saw, darling readers. Their children? They do better.
Mathverse/It's Only Right As A Math Problem- Okay from NOPC onwards we are in Connor Potter territory and I love him. This is a conglomeration of deleted scenes turned into a new universe from NOPC
Wherein Harry is traumatized but pretending he's not, Connor definitely does not have possession problems, and Bryony has decided that becoming a Dark Lady is a wonderful career choice.
Once upon a time, children chose kindness, but war chose children.
Or-
The adventures of a horcrux and his necromancer, set to the background of proper wbwl tropes.
A Conspiracy of Errors- I was thinking of Hydrangea meeting NOPC and Sorrel and Hawthorne insisting very stubbornly that Harry Potter is dead. I wanted to try smth.
On October 31st, 1981, The Dark Lord Voldemort broke into the Potter’s home and killed James and Henry Potter. Lily and Connor Potter survived, if barely.
Two months later, Lily Potter remarries Jacob Black and adopts his son, Hadrian.
Nine years later, the half-brothers reach Hogwarts. For years things haven’t quite added up, but it’s been negligible because that’s just what home is like. Their parents are trying to shelter them from something or other.
Of course, once they see how history views their family, every dodged question and untrue answer is suddenly cast in a much more sinister light. Connor and Harry are going to get to the bottom of this, even if it breaks them.
Meanwhile, Lily and James Potter fret over their children’s sparse letters and choppy attitudes.
Incubus- Horcrux thoughts go brr
The Students of Hogwarts will tell you that the Potter twins are needlessly affectionate.
They're wrong.
The Boys Who LiVeD- I don't remember :v:
Lily Potter is going to raise her children. That’s non negotiable. War won’t stop her, a dark lord won’t, and death will try.
I have a couple others but they're all really lose, like two sentence things. /shrug
ooooh @wbwlweekofficial day three, reunion, oooooohhh Mathverse finally dropped five years later, ooooh

Dark polished shoes moved back and forth over the unswept wooden floor. With a leather bound notebook in his arms Jim was scribbling down so fast that it was clear his hands were having trouble keeping up with his mind. “..need to set up separate servers.. ..maybe two extra satellites.” He was mumbling to himself in the dark office as he was working on his current project. It was long past midnight and except for the soldiers outside, he was all alone.
Winter had started a few weeks ago, so the poorly isolated office was rather cold. Jim missed the comfort of his own home and office but he was on a very important mission and his mind was going top speed so the cold did not bother him that much.
The project was top secret; the government was developing a device that would be able to receive, manipulate and send messages from behind the enemy lines without leaving a single trackable trace. It sounded rather simple but with current day’s technology, everything was trackable. A device like this would make it possible to win the war. Jim did not particularly care much about the war or about winning it. He simply liked solving difficult problems. Jim was so busy that he did not even notice the other person entering the room.
aibari said: oh wow this is some really interesting worldbuilding! have you planned going into it more in oneshots/potential sequels?
hi aibari ! thanks i’m glad you like Integration’s North Korea Alternia haha.
I have some ideas for oneshots/ potential sequels but none of them really go into Alternia’s history/ political situation. I guess I could write something about Fef or Eridan but that’s quite a departure from the stories currently in the ‘verse. It’s mostly interpersonal relations and character exploration and inner conflict.
though... now that you mention it, it could be interesting.
if you let me know what you want to hear about and a suitable mathgeek title, i will seriously consider it lol.
welp, this ‘verse just took a potential turn for my usual ‘not nice’
Integration is officially done! I’m really happy with how this fic turned out. It’s meant to be read as a one shot but it’s also 23k thereabouts haha.
Thanks to ssjohnkat2014 who organised this. Thanks for all your hard work and your understanding, sorry for taking so long!
Thanks to crabapples97, my giftee, for giving me free reign to do basically anything I wanted, and for the nice comments in the tags! Sorry this took so long, and has spun madly out of control. Your patience is much appreciated and I hope you enjoyed this ride!
Thanks to tonguerocker! For listening to my complaints, for going through the story with me, for pretty art that keeps me motivated, and for being hands when I had no hands ability. I am honoured to put this kid through school w you rayrayl and I promise to start your commission soon im so sorry. I literally could not have done this without you, you were a gr8 help <> <> <>
Thanks to everyone who read, liked and reblogged this! Integration’s been a great run!
There are 2 sequels and 2 same verse oneshots planned but they won’t be so nice. They’ll be less cute/fluffy and more jaded if anything because I will feel much less obligated to have a happy ending. My sadstuck trash friends will love/hate me for the sequels if I write them. BUT no promises because I already have people out for my blood for two of my longfics, haha.
Will very happily take asks on this verse still though!

no but I am really interested in why there are trolls on earth. I mean, i can just accept they are because AU and just go with it. But if there is a reason, like, if you have a reason I would love to hear what kind of thing you imagine would cause this strange, and strained allegiance between Earth and Alternia.
Integration [Homestuck, john/karkat] COMPLETE— Universitystuck but not humanstuck. Living together. – On AO3. On tumblr: integration fic tag, the tag in chrono, Part 1, Part 2, Part 2 notes, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7 (end)
===/\===
Hey! Thanks for the question, I never really had reason to write down all the details so this was fun!
In this AU trolls crash landed ages and ages ago (think ancient Egypt) in the Middle East/ North-Central Africa after the home planet became uninhabitable for reasons. Their technology, being biotech, degraded and Earth has no ability to support the new growth of space travel tech.
Trolls created a force field/ bubble/ sphere to reduce gravity in the middle of a desert in Africa. It's done by psionic slavery and hybrid bio-artificial fabricated circuitry tech. The Mothergrub and lusii cannot leave this sphere. Because of the vulnerability, trolls defend airspace and borderlands with extreme prejudice. Doesn't matter who you are, if you're remotely a threat, you die.
The general area that the bubble is in was called Alternia, in honour of the troll homeworld. Later on, it was formally recognised as a country with that name.
Historically trolls are the 'superior' species, and used to wander freely outside of Alternia in early history. BUT there were a couple of really bad genocides both ways. There was a relatively recent, semi-accidental event (one country acted unilaterally) about 20 years back which was a pollutant introduced to the atmosphere and killed off almost all trolls outside the bubble. Those who survived carried a resistant gene which has since been contributed to the slurry and the new generation is resistant. (Karkat's is one of the first few batches to have the resistance.)
Alternia, of course, responded with threats against the world. The best weapon they have are drones. Similar to drones used in human war IRL, they are not considered people, but they are bio-artificial tech automated killing machines that are able to target.
A lot of countries have an anti-troll political party. Doesn't help that there was a show of force/ kind of invasion, where drones were sent to sweep the countries bordering Alternia. It created a ghost town zone. It's mostly inhabited by adolescent trolls who've inherited the resistance genes but have been indoctrinated with basic schoolfeeding and propaganda.
The Empress now doesn't leave the sphere because of that. But Propaganda is still shown of her. In fact, it's super important because the trolls who leave are now more unreachable/harder to influence.
Humans don't know much about the inside of the sphere. All humans, without exception, are disallowed from Alternia. There is a lot of conjecture of course.
Recently, it's become slightly better about letting trolls out, but not humans in. It is mostly because 1, Alternia learns more about the enemy, and 2, vicious overcrowding within the sphere.
Leaking information means death so trolls who leave are carefully screened or just killed. Inside Alternia there's only an intranet, so you can talk to other Alternians but can't get word out. Trying is death. (Sollux did it anyway. No one found out.)
TL;DR-- trolls were historically aliens but now have their own country that's basically north korea
