Actually my Hannibal AU got me thinking about a canon Matsulawlight AU where instead of drawing L in towards himself Light meets Matsuda earlier and decides to frame him as Kira :) Bullshittery abounds ✨

I unfortunately can't post a full fic at the current moment due to the universe being a dick. So, this fic is being pushed back again. I am not happy about this, but I shall deal.

Been really thinking about Matsulawlight.

Matsuda putting himself into the role of unbiased peacemaker. He tries to smooth things over.

Light is hesitant at first. So is L. This is a battle between Kira and L, not Kira and L and Matsuda.

But hey, when Matsuda pulls his taser during the next fight between L and Light, they're both weirdly into it.
