Alex Jones Gives Herself A Paper Cut While Live On The One Show As She Admits It Was Bleeding On Air

Good job she didn’t say any naughty language.

Alex Jones cut her finger on her paper work while live on The One Show on Wednesday.

Alex was live presenting the show on BBC One when she was forced to wrap it in tissue to stop the bleeding.

Jones reassured viewers that ‘everything is fine’ as she eventually managed to find a tissue behind her sofa after suffering an incident live on-air.

The Code is BBC1's latest daytime quiz show.

The basic format is simple: connect the question to the right answer and hope to unlock a safe containing thousands of quid. The actual show is more complex.

Much to love: the questions are well-judged and show wit, Lesley-Anne Brewis is polite as The Expert. We're stoked to see a role model for women quizzers, and even more pleased that no-one sees it as unusual.

Also mention Flynn's exhaustive analysis of the mathematics, and why good players don't want to get a number right.
