The exchange with Stephen K. Bannon undercuts Stone’s claim to The Washington Post that he never communicated with campaign officials about WikiLeaks.
Why did Stone release the emails involving Steve Bannon? Revenge. Stone wrote "The Treachery of Steve Bannon"🔥for the Extremist right-wing Wackos at The Daily Caller.
And thanks to Stone, Bannon was summoned for another interview with the Mueller Team on Oct. 26, 2018 💣 The same day the #MAGAbomber was arrested #SoMuchWinning
Roger Stone, a longtime adviser to President Trump, sent an email to Trump’s chief campaign strategist in October 2016 that implied that he had information about WikiLeaks’s plans to release material that would be damaging to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
Never forget, it was Russia who stole the emails.
In an email to Stephen K. Bannon on Oct. 4 — days before WikiLeaks began releasing emails hacked from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta — Stone said that WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange feared for his personal safety but would nevertheless be releasing “a load every week going forward.”
Stone posted the exchange with Bannon on Thursday in a column on the Daily Caller website, shortly before the New York Times published a story describing the message.
“His newly revealed exchange with Bannon undercuts Stone’s insistence this week that he never communicated with Trump campaign officials about WikiLeaks.”
“There are no such communications, and if Bannon says there are he would be dissembling,” Stone told The Washington Post

On Sunday, Oct. 2, Stone tweeted: “Wednesday@HillaryClinton is done. #WikiLeaks.”
The next day, Stone received an email from Matt Boyle, an editor for Breitbart News, the conservative publication that Bannon led before he was named Trump’s campaign chief in August 2016, the New York Times reported.
Matt Boyle: “Assange — what’s he got? Hope it’s good.”
Roger Stone: “It is.” “I’d tell Bannon but he doesn’t call me back.”
“My book on the TRUMP campaign will be out in Jan.” “Many scores will be settled.”
Boyle then forwarded the message to Bannon, writing, “You should call Roger.”

Week 13 - Over the Underground
I've never been a huge fan of The Velvet Underground or Lou Reed. Don't get me wrong, I like a few of their tunes but over all, what I have heard, meh. I have to be honest and tell you that I haven't really given them much more then the casual listen. I think some of my resistance comes from the whole, "You should like this band because they have influenced such and such and yadda yadda and they are so important. Listen LISTEEEENNN!" I get it but I'm not much on being told what I should like. Maybe that's ignorance on my part but I need time to explore and discover on my own. I'll get there soon enough. Being a DJ at an independent radio station I can only imagine the grief I'm going to get for admitting this.
Over the Underground is a song that Matt Boyle and I used to play when The Way of the Sun was active. It came out of messing around at practice one day and we found ourselves going back to. Matt mentioned that it reminded him a little of The Velvet Underground. The words you hear here are a reaction to that. We thought it was humorous. We only played this one out a hand full of times and when we did we would extend the middle and ride on the riff for as long as we thought we could get away with it. It was a chance to stretch out some and just drive. The drums on this track are taken from a quick recording we did during practice so Matt would have reference of what he played. I only used the first little bit as the rest of that recording is way blown out. The rest of the track I recorded and mixed over the last few days.
