hi hi hiiiii (again ;P heheuheueheue) please allow me to amend my previous ask.......i would adore matt and ashley reuniting after the events of until dawn, if at all possible 🥰🫶
It was short lived. ):
Then after the whole affair was done away with… Emily was back. Chris was back.
And they’d be released into the custody of their parents the neck morning.
Ashley seeing Emily, Matt seeing Chris:
“… right…”
Back to pushing that away. Just slipped to the surface guys don’t even worry about it.
That’s just a wishful thought on the last image. It’s hurt with denier comfort.
Also yeah very deliberate showing of mishandling a bunch of traumatized teenagers. Their wellbeing is secondary.
I made the Chrissam pose!! 🥹 Look how glorious.
(Extra: MattAsh because @cuddly-copium made cute art for me before lol)
second chances/first choices a MattAsh gift for @cuddly-copium
It gets exhausting after a while, choosing someone who won't choose you back. Terrifying, too, when the choice in question is life or death. A thrown lever, a well-placed insult, a smoking gun, a clandestine meeting, a locked door, a desperate jump - they all made their decisions in Blackwood Pines, and the butterfly effect takes no prisoners. After finding themselves the only survivors of that night, Ashley and Matt have a lot of time to think about what it means to be someone's first choice...as well as what it means to be given a second chance.

SURPRISE, CC - it's ME-C! Your secret santa! 🥰 I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to draw you in the @untildawn-secretsanta exchange!!! (It's been so hard keeping my big mouth shut, let me tell you!!! :P) From one MattAsh truther to another, I hope you have the happiest holiday season, the brightest new year, and, well...I hope you enjoy this little gifty-gift 🫶
I’ve had this photo for ages and just realized you’d love to see it @cuddly-copium
Whats ur very very rare UD pairing mines Ashley x Matt
For my passion project / Headcanon lore.
I’ll happily talk about any of these, my inbox is always open.
I’m gonna do The Quarry, House of Ashes, The Devil In Me and maaaaaybe the casting of Frank Stone. I only have three or four characters I like in Little Hope, but if you’re curious I like to imagine Meghan grew up to turn out AceAro and Anthony might end up either Ashley’s mom so…
Wow I didn’t even notice the prompt this week 8O Hello Queenie!
If you’d indulge me
Maybe your take on the AshMatt photo ORRRR the one of her just standing there with a red cup. Either or! I have just been desperate for written work around the game photos
It was a dumb thing to get hung up on. That’s what she kept coming back to as she stared down into her dumb plastic cup, the endless refrain to the anxious inner monologue her brain was playing in time to Jess’s party playlist: Dumb dumb dumb stupid dumb.
Still, it gnawed on her (the way everything seemed to, those days), how easy it was for Sam and Hannah to see a phone and strike a pose, how effortlessly pretty Emily and Beth and Jess came out in even the most unexpected candids—but mostly it was how many pictures there were of them, how all of their camera rolls were full to the brim with selfies and sneaky shots of each other having fun, while she was lucky to end up in the background, half blurred and half blinking.
Maybe it showed on her face, maybe she was just radiating that kind of energy, maybe he’d taken up mindreading in his spare time, but either way, that was when Matt swooped in, his arm heavy around her shoulders and his hoodie still smelling like last night’s bonfire. “Hey, say cheese,” he whispered, then nudged her in just the right way that she spotted Beth pointing her phone their way.
And she winced when the flash went off and Matt asked to see it, knowing she probably looked awkward, or out of place, or any number of the nasty things that voice in the back of her head kept repeating, except he smiled as he saw it; “Not too bad, huh?” he asked, letting her get a look, and, for the first time since they’d made it to the lodge that weekend, Ashley smiled right back.
