Being that I’m in the wedding industry, it would be fair to assume that I like love. But actually, I 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 love. And I 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 love stories. Not just in movies, or books, or even television, but the stuff that inspires those Hollywood, fireworks, kissing in the rain moments : 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒. I’ve somewhat recently gotten into collecting vintage engagement/wedding rings, and almost every day, I wear a stack of my grandmother’s wedding band, and this Edwardian era wedding band I found at a treasure sale, engraved 11/11/1900. I wish I knew the story of this ring, and why it was left behind. Sometimes I come up with little stories for it on my own. Maybe carrying these little tokens of love will bring something good my way, or maybe I’m just carrying them to their next destination, and looking fabulous while doing it.
