An update for @mattfractionblog and Mr Aja that i think they’ll appreciate.

Ok, so you all know that i had a car accident on my way to meet Mr Renner at LFCC last month. And that it took my Hawkguy cosplay (that i was dressed in at the time) to a whole other level of walking human disaster because i had to have a metal plate fitted to fix the break.

Well i found out today from the consultant at ny check up that i had a very specific fracture and its called (and i really couldn’t make this shit up if i tried) a Barton fracture: ://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barton%27s_fracture . Not only that, but the surgical incision actually cuts into my Hawkguy tattoo that says “OK, so this looks bad…”

So, a Barton cosplayer on her way to meet Clint Barton ends up with a Barton fracture underneath her Clint Barton tattoo.

Think i may have to actually change my name to Clint.

A little something I was planning on giving mattfractionblog this weekend at Rose City Comic Con, which unfortunately (and understandably) he won’t be attending. But I thought I’d post this on here in the hopes he’d see it anyway-- as a little pick-me-up and a thank you.

Mr. Fraction, if you’re reading this, thank you for being wonderful and kind when I met you at ECCC. Thank you for writing this post. You’re talented and inspiring.
