It's so funny how Henry and Bertie are introduced in the same episode. So theoretically both relationships had the same time to develop and come to fruition.
But Edith/ Bertie is just way more logical, enjoyable and better developed than Mary/ Henry.
Goodbye, Henry. It was nice knowing you.
Sad that we didn't see more of you due to Matthew Goode's filming clashes. But we got Bob and Carl instead - both amazing characters, perfectly portrayed so woohoo for that!

A love letter to Henry Talbot
Today is September 12 (IYKYK) and I felt we needed to show a bit of love for Henry Talbot, a wonderfully loveable character beautifully portrayed by Matthew Goode.
I loved his incredible charm and the way he wore a tux like noone else, his adorable, cheeky smile, his passion and sense of adventure, the way he jumped into his snappy chariot, his strong will and determination to get Mary and how he worshipped her, was proud of her, wanted to support her and be worthy of her, his elation at becoming a dad and how he loved George, his friendship with Tom, his kindness towards Edith, just about everything!
