My holy grail primer!!!

Hi guys,

By now we all know I love a mixture of drugstore and highend cosmetics but there is one particular drugstore product I can’t function without. Last year Revolution brought out a new mattifying silicone primer called Conceal & Fix and this primer is just amazing!

Like I said it’s a mattifying primer that smoothies your face for easy base application. I use this primer with a real mixture of drugstore and highend foundations and every time it performs like a dream. What I love about a lot of Revolution face products is that the majority of products now include ingredients to look at your skin and keep it in good condition. In this case the primer includes salicylic acid which helps keep your skin in smooth and looked after under your make up.

I adore matte makeup as a general anyway but using this primer with matte makeup genuinely makes foundation last even longer on my base. Since matte foundation can be heavy on the skin, I love pairing them with this primer because it also helps smooth the base down and make the appearance of the foundation more natural.

what type of missha bb cream would you recommend, since there are so many? Did they break you out?? what powder do you use to mattify?

Out of all the ones that I have tried, I like the Missha perfect cover one the best. One because it has the best coverage out of them all (i think at least) and because their color range is better. None of them made me break out more, but I have heard of the Missha real signature complete breaking people out more than the perfect cover. Right now there is 30% off sitewide so it would be a great chance to try it

In the morning, I use my Mac Prep and prime loose powder before I leave in the morning. Then throughout the day, after I use my blotting sheets. Then, I use my almay clear complexion pressed powder with a travel kabuki brush and very lightly dust my face (it can be cakey if you put too much). It works pretty well for me, but I do have to blot at least 2-3 times a day.
