Okay. I've got a short maul/Devon smut fic idea. I'll outline it and do what I can now but wanna see the end of the season first because I don't want to diverge from canon much beyond writing my little ship
He will now have his Darth Talon, and a companion worthy of being by his side.
ngl Maul and Devon have been making my brain go brrr. Like what do you mean Disney gave us the following: height diff, age diff, master and student, enemies to allies (lovers).
Bless whoever took one look at Devon and said yeah lets make her even more likely to ride that old Zabrak until he can't even form sentences.
Oh yeah! Star Wars is completely ripe for this with every single Master/Padawan or Master/Apprentice combo, but Maul/Devon really scratches my personal itches so far with her standing her ground around him and generally disregarding what he says.
The show is so short I find myself looking for details to extrapolate about Devon to figure out more about the potential interactions I could write that would feel IC enough to me, but it's hard to get anything really concrete. I need more data!! It was much easier to write my maul/obi-wan's Padawan/obi-wan fic because I knew so much about Maul and Obi-Wan and I could supply an OC. Much much harder with limited Devon info.
The Maul/Devon thing I'm working on involves him asking her, one member of a species with no body hair to another, why she has cosmetic eyebrows and wheedling her about that as an in to drop a villainous/weasely "you didn't need to do that, you're perfectly beautiful as is" type statement to try to manipulate her.
My hope for canon with her is still very much that she will be the one to maroon Maul down the line!
