I’ll let you guys know the whole scene was originally slightly different, and among other reasons it was rewritten because Pink’s room is not the best place for what had to happen.

Chapter 24 of Over Their Garden is out.

And it's not for kids.

I’ve felt really proud of my labour when Over Their Garden became the top read fanfic of the Stevinel AO3 tag, but what I didn’t even suspect before I checked it today - is that it’s the fanfic with the most reads of the whole Spinel tag of the site.  

So I just want to say: Thank you all so much. For every single person who dropped by to read it. For everyone who found it by curiosity. For everyone from the Stevinel community who came for the ship content. For everyone who told me they related to Spinel in my story, and felt happy and inspired to see her push through all the troubles, relapses, panic attacks, and other misfortunes, and still come out standing tall. For everyone who left a kind comment on the fic. For every kudos. For everyone who dropped by my blog here or even messaged me on discord to tell me how much they love my fic. For every single person who has drawn fanart for it (I’m so sorry if there’s any of it that I’m not aware of yet, I’d love to see and cherish it. Most likely tumblr hid it from me). For every single voice cover and audio work I’ve recieved. For all the people who took more than 40 minutes of their days to do a whole live reading of the chapters in the Stevinel server. 

Thank you. I wouldn’t have done or achieved any of this without all of you, without all the love and support I’ve been recieving. 

I had no idea I would end up here one day. I just want you all to know that I was at the rock bottom, once upon a time. And I made it out. And now, I am more than glad to be writing a story that portrays a character climbing out of her own rock bottom, in high hopes that those who relate to her struggles will find her story inspiring for their own future. And will feel that there’s hope for them as well. 

There’s always hope, for everyone.
