view 1: tribal garb, she's a bodyguard on the planet she lives on (non-native planet). full of earth tones and warm colors contrasted with the cool blue/grey colors of her skin and hair. this outfit is shown at the beginning of the story, when she is first introduced
view 2: this shows her normal outfit throughout the story in a profile view. i've removed the sleeve to show the shape of the cape. i've also included her cape tech in this view: instead of having a normal cape hood, there's a hole in it for her hair to emerge from, and then the normal "hood" part is composed of a few floating discs that follow the shape of where the hood would be. hair is not pictured here, but normally both would be shown. the cape is from her homeworld.
view 3: this view shows what the hair looks like coming out of the hood, minus the cape piece. i wanted to take the time to show each component so it's easier to see what they look like together. also in this view, you can see the exaggerated width of the bell sleeves and the fact that she's floating. i've also included another color palette of what this looks like, largely composed of dark and deep blue colors, vaguely celestial themed.

proud of the different views of this character and the way i was able to refine the silhouette to make it clearer for people!
i'm still not happy with how i'm representing the hair, and more importantly, i don't know how i want to design the cape yet. i stuck with the basic shape for now, because ultimately that's more important, but i'm not sure where i want to go with it. going to be perusing my references
