As fond as I am of maws for being my introduction to superman media and getting me to start reading comics
GOD it's designs and Villian origins were so bland compared to everything that came before it.
Parasite? Superman debued last Monday ,why are you already on his ass. Livewire? Get a different haircut I beg. Heatwave? Should have been volcana. Mist? Could literally turn into mist in the comics. SILVER BANSHEE?? Massacred my girl.
The only ones I don't think are completely butchered are Atomic skull and Rough house, mostly because a flaming skeleton is a very difficult design concept to fuck up, and Rough house showed up in the background in like 3 issues of a comic one time so there wasn't much to screw up anyway.
