i think i will forever stand for the idea that Scarecrow (1973) is Al Pacino's most underrated movie and also just an underrated movie in general...when I see people discuss his discography I HARDLY EVER see Scarecrow get mentioned which is such a shame because I think it's his second best movie EVER!!!!! I've seen Scarecrow three times and I genuinely notice and learn new things about it EVERY TIME! the amount of like. CARE and HEART and TENDERNESS that this movie has...like this movie is so passionate about its characters and its story and its visuals, every little choice has so much MEANING like this movie is RICH with substance. and like it's the worlds biggest bummer (a little bit less of a downer than Midnight Cowboy but like STILL) and UGH it sticks with you so hard! It's my fifth favorite movie of all time and I wish it had more love...UGH! SCARECROW! YOU HAVE MY HEART! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!
