OK genuine question why tf are there like barely any cannonically autistic characters with melanin? 😭💔 Why is the "default look" for an autistic person in media, as well as most cannonically autistic characters who are "good autism representation" a straight white person (mostly a man) with either blonde or brownish hair?

OMG MAX IS AUTISTIC HELL YES
I absolutely completely loved this beautiful publication of Miraculous Ladybug of the characters Max Kanté and Diane together but above all because although I like to think of Max and Diane as a romantic couple at the same time I also like to think of them as brothers or relatives if I give them honest but also because anyway I'm a fan of Max and Sabrina's ship together and Diane and Nathaniel's ship (a ship that I created is my best friend @moonlightchildsblog) but also because I am excited to see them during season 6 of the Miraculous Ladybug series in every possible way

I've seen some people ding the idea that Marinette was in the wrong in the Gamer episode because if she was more skilled then Max, she SHOULD be on the gaming team. I'd agree with that....except for one problem.
The issue isn't about "who's better". It's about "who actually cares."
Marinette only joined the team because Adrien was on it and she wanted to oggle him the whole time and be around him. She didn't actually care about the team or the competition they were competing for. She just wanted to be around Adrien.
And the problem with THAT is, what would've happened if he'd quite before the actual competition? Or couldn't be on the team anymore? Would she have quit too just because he wasn't there? She's not there for what they're competing for. And even then, she's pretty clearly distracted by him. Maybe not enough to throw her completely off, but it would definitely be a problem if he she ended up making a mistake because her mind was on HIM, not the game.
If you join a competition or a team, your focus should be on what the teams competing for. It should be on doing your best for them, not just about being around someone else or impressing your crush.
The issue of the episode wasn't that Marinette beat Max. It was that she didn't care about the position she was taking from him. And she took it from him for a kind of lame reason.
