had an urge to draw The Boy after listening to "In My Head" by nathan sharp. like listen. i know it's a jinx fansong. but i have ocs and im willing to reach. anyway i havent drawn max in a while (last few pages of wwhg were very eden-focused) and i missed him
i redesigned his arm a bit! i looked at some real-world prosthetics and joints, and came up with this. it's got a leather harness to attach it to his arm/shoulder, with a steel pipe coming out of the end of the leather cuff. the pipe is held in place with a hard plastic disc and attached to his original upper arm (which is fine bc he's an android, he can just like. weld it in place.). the joint is a hinge joint, and the wrist is a thick casing with a bunch of sockets inside for both the wrist bending and the "fingers". there's wires threaded through the tubes and into his actual body, meaning he can control it with thoughts rather than pressure.
