Miriya (green hair) is part of a Giant alien race called the Zentraedi, she was defeated by Max in aerial combat.

Max (blue hair) is a human ace pilot.

She eventually transforms herself into a human/micronian to try and kill Max with a knife as revenge. But after some shenanigans and a failed murder attempt later, Miriya and Max get married and have a bunch of Daughters. 🤪👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

Miriya is a 10/10 mom 👍 Max is so unbothered😂

Robotech Toyota Supra 2020 (Miriya Sterling & Max Sterling)

Went Toys R Us during work lunch and came across these cool cars.

I had the impulse to buy it just like Koshiba Fuka's struggle in Tokusatsu Gagaga (2019). I've seen "toys" that I was tempted to buy but manage to forget it, but this one has that nostalgic allure!

Never thought I'd end up in the same situation as her today when I went back to the store to find it again during work lunch after resisting it yesterday, telling myself "it's a waste of money".

So happy to report that I finally got the red car!

Things that make you happy is not a waste of money! It's a good return on investment on your mental wellbeing! Even when you get tired of it one day, you can sell it and get your money back!

Figure collecting: 2023 display breakdown - mecha and futuristic stuff

Third breakdown - left upright cabinet, third shelf.

From left to right, roughly: Max Sterling (Robotech), Tekkaman Blade, Anavel Gato and RX-78GP02A Gundam "Physalis" (Gundam 0083), Captain Harlock and Emeraldas, KOS-MOS (Xenosaga), Vash, Nicholas Wolfwood and Legato (Trigun).

Obviously this is my most atypical shelf as I specialize in collecting male figures, not gunpla / mecha, however I have a certain fondness for sci-fi anime having been raised on things like Gatchaman from the time I was a tyke. This shelf obviously has room for growth, but I have multiple Gundams en route as well as another Tekkaman Blade kit to assemble, so it’ll fill in more noticeably this year.
