annerackham works well because jack and anne are inherently linked. they are nothing without the other, they are together to the point where it is dangerous. they share a mind and a heart, and know each other better than they know themselves.

maxanne works better because max and anne are both so different yet so same. max is pragmatic and calculating, anne is so emotional and passionate, but they balance each other out. they are two sides of a coin. they are echoes of each other, they lead each other out of darkness.

maxannerackham works best because anne has two hands and therefore should have two partners :)
