ten-forward!! we all know im tng trash til the end but honestly i really really admire guinan. shes one of my fav charas, i feel like of these three i would prolly spend most of my time there if only to soak up her cryptic wisdom

honestly real talk its a really easy choice! ive had this conversation before, and this isnt a matter of Fav Captain, its a matter of Best Captian. its archer. he was the first, he had no one to look to for guidance or life experience, it was just him, alone, amongst the stars, desperately tryna be a good leader for his crew. and he was, he was the best. he had all the great qualities of the other captains too: kirk’s charm and ethics, picard’s diplomacy, sisko’s temperament, janeway’s tenacity. he was practical, smart, caring, he engaged his crew, tried his best, fought a war, saved the galaxy
every other captain loses crewmen left and right. archer was captain for three years before their first casualty. he must be doing something right
