In Altered, Bryan Christiansen presents sculptures echoing his continuing investigation of the crossroads “between human’s relationship with their personal environments and nature”. May 24th to Aug. 26th, MCA Denver presents Honey, an exhibition of new pieces by Denver-based photographer Kristen Hatgi Sink. Using mediums such videos, vitrine, and performances, Sink has created a series of works delving into “honey’s cultural significance”. Featuring the “eponymous sticky substance”, Sink incorporates: “butterflies, flowers, insects, fruit, and fish, in addition to human subjects, to create baroque scenes”. May 5th, Homebody Denver presents two exquisite jewelry trunk show collections including an Atelier Paulin craftsman creating personalized jewelry in 20 minutes.
