So I just came back from Primark.
I did it! Now time to get ice cream and put my stuff together.
Got to remember; clothes, medicine, college work/books, laptop, good spirits, maybe food&water.
I’ll need 2 pairs of jeans, 3 T-shirts, 4 long sleeve things and yeah that’s it.
My dads gonna try and make me wear terrible stuff :c
not terrible just stuff that I’d rather not wear.
On the way to the town centre a man said to me “excuse me sir”
he asked if I could spare a bit of copper
I’m a nice person so I find it hard to say no to these things and I’m in this situation a lot.
I gave him 90p, he asked for my name and we chatted a little. You can’t always be sure if a stranger asking for change will offer you a good or bad chat but you can always find out.
He said he’d be praying for me tonight, he meant it when he said it but by the time night comes I don’t know if he’ll still want to. His name was Carl and he was very friendly.
Not a creepy friendly; just pleasant.
So yeah, 4 years ago he said he had his own business, unfortunately along the lines his wife passed (may she rest in sweet peace) and things crumbled, he’s been homeless for 8 months now.
It’s not all bad though, on Tuesday(I think) he’s going into a housing scheme to get him back on track. Which is good, I hope that works out for him! c:
So Carl reminded me, after I told him I was buying jeans from Primark, that there’s not bad stuff in charity shops. He got high end clothes from a charity shop simply because they had a hole in them.
When I was in Primark it wasn’t too bad, it was over quickly. Luckily the women skinny jean section wasn’t extremely crowded `and I didn’t actually feel like everybody was looking at me. I was okay. I bought jeans and a blue jacket.
I might give away some of the clothes that don’t fit me to charity later... I might as well; I don’t wear them.
One hour to get ready! Peace and love!
