I don’t get the cultural glazing of the number 100. I understand liking 5 and 10 as humans, (digits are cool, got 5 per limb, 10 fingers, 20 digits total) but 10^2 seems arbitrary and unnecessarily granular for how common percentages are.
I propose - solving nothing and frustrating everyone - swapping to a base 20 system of odds called perVentage. I’m not 20 pervent on that though, maybe ten pervent at best, a 10/10 crapshot.
I mean, take it further and just base 20 everything. Starting now.
