casarecce:do you feel comfortable in fancy rooms?
Senkou’s ear flickered, rereading the question in his head a couple times before looking upwards in thought, raising a hoof to gently tap his snout. Remaining silent for a few moments, his brows slowly furrowed, seemingly struggling to come up with a proper answer. Finally, he lowered his hoof and spoke.
“I guess so… Don’t see why not, really. I haven’t gone into a lot of fancy places, to be honest.” The colt explained, pausing briefly as a distant memory came to him, “I do remember when Ms Nurse took all of us to the Flight Academy. It was just one visit, and we were really little, so she was saying how we can go there some day.” His eyes trailed upward in thought once again, trying to recall the old memory, “There were lots of furniture-things there, that weren’t just clouds, and a bunch of trophies behind glass… I guess that counts as a fancy room? I was just fine in it, and all, but it was a long time ago…”
(OOC: Fun fact - 'Katsu' means 'pork loins' in Japanese :3)
[Yes, and is also a name generally meaning 'victorious.']

(ノ◕‿◕)ノ— I love your blog(≧▽≦) — You give me feels
[WHY THANK YOU. FFFFFFFF.]
What happened to Katsu in his past? Like, how did he get into that research institute and made into a weapon? What on earth happened to him in there?
[While his biological mother was in labor to deliver Katsu and his twin brother, Nori, his uncle, Eiji, ripped Katsu’s mother open and stole him from her body to use as a token of payment toward a group of humans that he struck a bargain with. Eiji promised them a live specimen of his species - one that was young and as new as he could get, simply so they could raise him and learn more over time.
As Katsu grew older while in the ‘care’ and company of humans, the testing became more gruesome and the assignments became much more dangerous. They sought to breed him for chimera-human halflings, hoping that his blood would enhance a human’s lifespan, as well as their strength and mind.
He never succeeded in siring any, however, simply because he was far too young and refused to cooperate long enough for anyone to get anything from him. Not only was he tortured in more ways than simple testing, the researchers performed surgeries in front of audiences (namely military and government personnel) to demonstrate his natural regenerative properties.
He was not sedated for any procedure ever performed on him, nor was he given pain medications to help relieve him. They wanted to see how much he could take. How much a chimera could take. When a surgery would go well and his body would heal, the researchers took the credit and left him to recover on his own. The only help they gave him was supplying oxygen to make him work faster.
When they tried to modify his regenerative abilities, the part of his brain controlling that lost its ability to even comprehend accomplishing regeneration. He was never able to do it again. Once he was accepted into the German military, he was put back in ‘reserve’ as a ‘secrete weapon’ of sorts. Being a chimera, he could take the blunt-force dealt to him by firearms, be them mere bullets or full-size missiles.
His telekinesis and reflexes forced him to respond naturally to defending himself, which made the researchers and military officers feel accomplished, as if they had finally ‘tamed’ him into absolute obedience. This went on for years, and even still, everything got worse. He eventually became a dealer of death sentences for high-risk criminals, and would be forced to kill mass numbers of them for both testing and for ‘the good of the people.’
Eventually, though, Katsu snapped and attacked everyone and everything, massacring military officials and the majority of researchers leading the project involving him. However, several escaped, and because of his rarity and the humans’ lack of ability to successfully clone him or use his genetics to make more of his kind, he is highly sought after. Black market dealers often try to capture him simply to collect the reward on his head that’s known throughout the underground systems of society.
Katsu is highly impulsive and unpredictable because of his past, making it impossible for almost anyone to get along with him, let alone get close to him. His humanity was ripped from him ages ago, but since the day that he was freed, he has slowly begun to recover, though he remains deeply traumatized.]

[Very carefully.]

[You may attempt to do something stupid. It will either annoy him or make him laugh. We aren't responsible for the outcome either way.]

[Irritate him, all bets are off. This is not hard to do, so tread carefully. Gifts are a good way to start negotiations.]
What happened to Miden's family? Why does he live alone? What's his origin?
Backstory: Miden’s family lives very, very deep in the Everfree. When he was old enough, he set fourth to make a home elsewhere. He ended up traveling for about two weeks, making it to the edge of the forest, near Ponyville. He lives alone because he wants to, and he likes it that way. He does get lonely sometimes, but he never admits it. Even he doesn’t know his origin, or the origin of monocerotes in general.

—— Isako hissed as she landed wrong on her leg and it made a sickening crack. "shit shit shit shit...." she muttered and she looked down at her now deformed leg. Great, now that would take up even more energy... She quickly took care of her leg and stood up, wobbling just slightly. Isako inspected the, unfortunately, familiar city. How she hated visiting dimensions that she had already visited.
—— Then again, it could also be another version of a similar dimension. And on the bright side, at least she had a somewhat comfortable relationship with someone in town. So she started walking to the familiar home of a friend. Just until her energy returned to her.
