An interview with Scott Kreamer says that he thinks the timejump may be around 6-8 weeks. 

I still think it’s about half that and that the timejump was more a “vague story thing”, but I’m willing to buy it.

Severe sprains can take three months or more to heal, and since Yaz decided to spend a week hobbling around on it without treatment, I’d say it got pretty severe. 

Again, obviously the implication from the tallies was 22 days, but...maybe she started keeping count after a week? Maybe they had another wall with the first month? Maybe there are tallies at the base of the tree?
