Modern Glasgow AU: I was inspired to write the first ficlet after I made an ill-informed decision to join a friend and her boyfriend at an all-night Halloween party at a club in Brooklyn in 2015.
Uitlander: I’d originally planned to write a chapter where Claire visits Alex Randall at his mission, and realizes it isn’t for her. I decided it would be more powerful for her to never visit it, instead - emphasizing just how remote it is from her, and how disconnected she is from it.
Shifted: I started writing with the twist in Part 1 - Chapter 11 and Part 1 - Chapter 12 in mind. I just didn’t know how I’d get there!
Truth to Triumph: I’d been wanting to write a story with Claire as a single mother for quite a while - and once I started writing TtT, the pieces beautifully fell into place.
