Minor gunpla/gundam rant here because i think i am cursed or stupid (the latter is more likely)
I used to be a big SEED fangirl, and I mean I still kind of am, but it was to the point where my ideal collection highlight was a set of pristine Master Grades of the Strike, Duel, Aegis, Buster, and Blitz. I've bought three and have since given up on the endeavor.
Buster, my favorite, was first. A great build and a great kit, but a stupid builder. The Right Cannon ball joint is now broken (my fault for trying to remove it) and it just fell off my fucking shelf so now a bunch of pieces are cluttered in my room's mess (literally the reason I'm making this post...)
Aegis came second. She broke while I was building her, both shoulders snapped and glued immobile. I never finished the rest of the kit.
Strike is most recent, and is therefore the most complete, sitting still pristine atop a precariously thin looking Action Base, recreating the pose from the show's first intro.
And while I hope to one day have a set of the five MG SEED Gundams up on my shelf, I'm starting to think maybe I should not. Sure, both of those mistakes are my fault, but in fairness those parts all led me to believe they moved in a way that they didn't so. not really my fault. I dunno I think maybe I shouldn't get more Master Grades until I'm "Good At Gunpla" but . i mean I'm planning on building another SEED MG soon (ZAKU Warrior Concert Ver. if you're curious!) so. I dunno I never heed my own warnings.
I'm talking about nothing actually I still want at least Blitz Gundam on my shelf. I need it.
