Spider-Man Beyond The Web- Chapter 3 AVALANCHE. Finale

Williamsburg Apartments

Herman was driving his car in the garage as he took his mask and gauntlets off. He exited the car and headed up some stairs to his apartment. As he headed up he was getting a phone call from Tombstone. He answered. "Hey, boss," he said over the phone. "I have been hearing that some armored trucks were getting robbed. And I haven't seen you in a few days. You wouldn't be responsible for these were you Herman?" Tombstone asked as Herman chuckled softly. "Guilty as charged," he said as he entered his apartment and locked it. "Haha. You remind me of. Well me when I was your age." Tombstone said as Herman smiled a bit as he went to get a beer. "I knew you would be proud of me," he said. "I was wondering where you were getting all this money you were giving me. So I put together a few pieces," she said as Herman drank his beer. "So this is how you're working out those people that owe me money huh?" "Yep. I say it's better than them dying don't you think. They can work off their debt. And I get myself a whole crew." he said "Well Well. That's some smart thinking Herman." She said as he chuckled. "Well, I did learn it from the best," he said before looking out the window and drinking his beer. "Hope you're ready for more. Because tomorrow night. There's gonna be another truck." he said. "Well In that case. Stop by the auto shop then. I think I have something that might help you." She said as Herman finished his beer. "I'm on my way," Herman said as he started to leave his apartment. Unknown to him, however. He had a visitor. And that visitor soon decloaked themselves to be Spider-Man. "...I can turn invisible??" he said to himself. Mr.Aarons Davis Place Earlier "Ok, I'm coming out," Nick said as he came out of the bathroom revealing his new suit that Mayday had made for him. The other looked over as Nick came out. 

"So how do I look?" he asked them as Maxine chuckled a bit seeing him. "You look amazing dude. Now you look like Spider-Man." Miles said as Gwen came over. "I like the added hoodie and cape. Makes you more terrifying I think," she said as she lifted the cape. "Well. Makes you kinda stupid also," she said as Nick glared under his mask as Mayday came over. "Now. I noticed the added claws on your hands," she said as Nick looked at his hand and looked at the claws. "I was wondering what that was all about," he said as Mayday explained. "Since you can't wall climb like the regular Spider-Man who didnt have claws. I had Miles make something that can remedy that," she said as Miles nodded his head. "Something I took from one of the original Spider-Man's Original enemies. Black Cat," he said. "I also added some added protection around your chest legs and arms in case Shocker is going to use those gauntlets of his again on you," he said. Gwen cleared her throat "I took the liberty of asking my dad to give me Herman's last known location. He has an apartment in Williamsburg." she said as she sent the details on Nick's phone. He looked at it and nodded his head. Maxine looked at them as he came over "Hey Nick I got something to give you too." she said as she lifted his mask off and gave him a peck on the cheek. He blushed red as Gwen smirked looking at Mayday. Mayday glared a bit as Gwen quickly looked away. "G-Got it...Thanks, guys really," he said as Gwen scoffed a bit. "Don't be like that. You're acting like we weren't going to help you in the first place," she said as Miles nodded. "Yeah, you're our friend," Miles said. Mayday nodded her head. "Just be careful," Maxine said as he nodded as he opened the window. "Watch out New York. Here comes the All-New Spider-Man," he said to himself as his web zips out of there. Going to Williamsburg. He Web swing as he was doing it carefully anchoring from building to building. He wasn't doing anything crazy. He was still used to this after all. 

Williamsburg Apartments Earlier

Spider-Man arrived at Shocker's apartment and he clung to the wall. "Aww thanks for the new claws Miles," he said to himself as he opened the window to the lion's den. He hops in and closes the window back down as he looks around. "Ok. Get to searching Nick," he said to himself as he started to check room by room. He checked the Shocker room. Or at least it looked like it could be his room as he checked the drawers. He found a journal. "Mmm? Interesting," he said as he looked at it. He saw a whole lot of names in there but he saw one name that piqued his interest. "Mmm. Jones," he said. Jones owed a lot of money to someone named Tombstone. Spider-Man soon decided to look where this guy could be. This Jones character. "Downtown Brooklyn...County Street Apartment 6." He puts the journal back as he goes to leave but then hears a voice. "Guilty as charged," the voice said. Shit, he was back. Spider-Man had to think of something quick. However, it was too late the door was open as Spider-Man looked at the man. Shocker came over to Spider-Man but he didnt notice he was there as he went to get a beer. Spider-Man was confused as he looked at his hands a bit. They were invisible. He was speechless. A few minutes passed as Shocker soon left his apartment again. He soon decloaked "...I can turn invisible??" he said. He soon opens the window to leave. "So Shocker is planning on taking down an armored truck tomorrow night. Mmm. I have an idea." he said to himself as he swung away heading to downtown Brooklyn. 

Downtown Brooklyn County Street Apartment 6

"Please babe don't go," Jones said to his girlfriend as she was packing her things. "I'm sorry Jones. I can't be with a criminal..." She picks up her bag. "It's only temporary. As soon as I pay up all my debts I'm done I promise," he said as she shook her head. "I heard that before..." She soon leaves the apartment. Jones smacks himself on the head. "Stupid Stupid Stupid," he said as he went to sit down. He went to get a drink but heard a knock. "Mmm?" he said as he went to open his door. "Cidney-" Jones opens the door and sees Spider-Man "Hey," he said as Jones went to slam the door but Spider-Man stopped him. "Now hang on. I saw your spat outside the window. I wanna help...Maybe help you make amends...get your girl back even." he said to Jones. He looks at Spider-Man as he sighs but lets him in. "I take it to you here to ask me questions about Shocker..." he said as Spider-Man nodded. Jones sighs as he drinks. "...I'm In debt with his boss. The Tombstone..." he said "Yeah I heard about that name." Spider-Man said. "If you heard the name...then you don't know half of it..." Jones said as he made another drink. "I'm not the only one you know. Shocker has a bunch of us that owe money to her...Its this pryamid schme he has. Where he takes most of the money and we only get a little bit of it. And that doesn't help us pay off the debt we owe." he said sighing. "But now he's planning on hitting another truck...this one would be armed to the teeth...it's a suicide run...But not for ThE sHoCkEr."  Jones mocked the man he was working for. Spider-Man listened as he got up. "I need to know where that truck is going to be," he said as Jones looked at him. "It's coming into the north bridge of downtown Brooklyn," he said as Spider-Man nodded his head. "Alright. Go to the police. Talk to a man named Captain Stacy or Officer Davis. They will help. And get anyone else that wants an out...this is your chance to get an out." Spider-Man said as he went to leave. "Who do I tell them that sent me?" he asked. "...Spider-Man," he said as he left and webs swung away.

Downtown Apartments Home Spider-Man arrives at his home as he opens the window. He took his mask off as he took out his phone. He then texts his friends in a group chat. "Things went smoothly as I thought." he texted as Miles texted back. "That's good to hear.  I hope the claws worked out." he texted. "Oh they worked out great." he texted back as he soon remembered. "Oh yeah, I discovered a new power. I can turn invisible." he texted as Mayday started to text. "What! What do you mean you can turn invisible!!!" she texted as Nick was about to text what happened before there was a knock on his door. "Son you in there?" his dad said as Nick's eyes widened. "Yeah. Um don't come in here I'm naked!" he said as he started to take his suit off. As he did he hid it under his bed. He then puts some clothes on and opens the door. "Hey, Dad. What's up?" he said as his dad crossed his arms. "I didn't know you came home," he said. "Yeah, I came in while you were asleep on the couch again," Nick said jokingly as his dad chuckled. "Ahh good point. Well, dinner is ready. And your mom is gonna be late again from work." he said as Nick nodded his head. "Well. I have to go back to the couch. The game is on." he patted his son's shoulder as he closed his door. Nick sighed in relief as he went back to text his friends about what happened.  Williamsburg Autoshop

Herman arrived at the auto shop as he got out of the car and headed inside. he soon saw Tombstone. "Hey, boss. Heard you got something new that can help?" he said as she looked at Shocker. "I sure do," she said as she took out something. "An upgraded piece for your gauntlets," she said as Herman looked at it. "Wow. Look at that," he said as he took it. "Now whoever tries to even dares try to attack you. They're gonna be in a world of hurt," she said as Herman smirked a bit. "Thanks, boss," he said as Tombstone shook her head. "No need to thank me. You have been doing good Herman. Keep this up and you might even be at the big table." she said jokingly. "Oh haha. Very funny," he said. "But keep my seat warm when I do get there," he said.  Brooklyn Visions Academy Next Day

"So they planning on attacking tonight huh?" Gwen said as she ate some of her lunch as Nick nodded his head. "Yeah. I'm hoping that Jones takes my advice and the numbers are lowered when Shocker does decide to attack,"  he said as Mayday nodded. "We can only hope," Nick said as he drank his soda. "Hey is this seat taken?" a voice asked as Nick looked over and he almost choked on his soda. It was Maxine as she went to sit down next to Nick. "M-Maxine hey!" he said. "So you do go to this school." he said "I do now," she said as she took her lunch out. "Aww new transfer?" Miles guessed. "Mmm. I'll tell you guys later...I think you guys deserve to know at least." she said as they all looked at her. "So...You guys got a plan to take down Shocker?" she asked them as Nick looked at her a bit and smiled. "I have a concept of a plan," he said Downtown Brooklyn North Bridge Later That Night Shocker was waiting for Jones and a couple of others as he looked in the rearview mirror. "Where the hell are they," he said. He only had one person. A driver. with him as he looks at them. "They might not come boss. What do we do then?" he asked as Shocker looked at the driver. "We continue as planned. This truck is gonna be ours." as soon as he said that he saw the truck driving by. "Gun it." Shocker orders as the driver nods his head and drives after the armored truck. Of course, there were cop cars around it. Shocker smirked as he rolled the window down aimed his gauntlets and shot at the cars flipping them over. "HAHA thank you Tombstone!" he said as his gauntlets didn't have to charge anymore as he shot another cop car. He soon noticed something from the side mirror. "What the-" he looked over to see Spider-Man web-swinging "Shocker!" he yelled as Shocker aimed his gauntlets and fired. Spider-Man dodged easily. "What do we do boss!" the driver asked. Shocker growls "Do not lose sight of that truck!" Shocker yelled as the driver nodded and kept going but they heard a loud thud on the top of the car. And the driver was yanked out and webbed to a side of the building. "Hey, Herman." Spider-Man as Shocker's eyes widen. Shocker fired another blast but as he pushed the brakes Spider-Man launched off the car. He landed on his feet. Shocker glared. "Psh. They're right. You are annoying." he said as Spider-Man glares a bit with a smirk. "Could say the same about you," Spider-Man said as Shocker got ready to fire another blast but his gauntlets got webbed. "Nope not this time." he said "Hey what the-" With a loud BRRRRMMMMM Shocker was sent flying as he fell on his back. "Ughhhh," he said as Spider-Man sips over and webs Shocker. "Huh! No!" he yelled as he got webbed some more to the floor. "Well, Herman. I guess you can say this night was a bust," he said as Shocker tried to break free. The cops came over as they aimed their guns at Spider-Man. And at Shocker. "I can't believe. It's Spider-Man..." one said. "I thought he was dead. What do we do captain?" one asked. "Nothing much 'cause I'm gone!" Spider-Man said as his webs zipped away and started to swing. The cops see him go as they look at Shocker. Downtown Apartments Home The Next Morning

"Welcome Welcome New York City. We have some news for you today. In Brooklyn, an almost high-speed chase was seen as the hero known as Spider-Man. Yes, the Spider-Man. Was seen taking down this guy. Herman Schultz or as he likes to be called the Shocker." The Newscaster kept going as Nick's dad watched with his family. "Well. After all these years he's back," he said with a smile. "Mmm. I never trusted that Spider-Man." Nick's mom said as Nick ate his cereal. "I don't know...I think he's cool," he said as his mom chuckled. "You think everything is cool," she said as Nick smiled before getting a message from his friends. He finished his cereal as he got up. "Freinds are here. Gotta go!" he said as he hurried and gave a forehead kiss to both his parents. "Be careful!" his mom said. He arrives at the front as he sees his friends. They smiled. "Hey guys," he said as he walked with them. "Look at you, big-time hero," Gwen said as Maxine smiled. "They're talking about you all over," she said as Mayday nodded her head. "Some Nicked name you the All-New Spider-Man," she said. "Tho that might be cause I coined the name," she said as Nick smiled. "Well thanks..." he said to them as they walked. But soon they saw someone robbing a store. "Mmm. Is it me or as soon as Spider-Man returns crime comes back?" Miles asked they all looked at him. "Kidding," Miles said with a smile as their friends hid Nick. "Thanks guys," he said. "Of course Just hurry," Gwen said. "And be careful," Maxine said as Nick got done. Spider-Man hopped out from behind them as he swung to stop this crime. 

Brooklyn Detention Center Herman was waiting in a cell as some cops came over. "Ok, Schultz you're out." the cop said as Herman got up and out of the Detention center building. He soon saw a black car. He sighs as he enters. Tombstone was in there. Along with someone else. "You made a pretty big mess of things Herman." a deep voice said. "I know and I'm sorry," Herman said as the person shook their head. "It's alright. I know it ain't your fault," he said. "Tombstone here should have told you those trucks were off limits," he said Tombstone nodded as she looked at Herman and punched him in the nose breaking it. "AW MOTHERFUCKER!" he yelled holding his nose. "Now that were even." the voice said. "Let's see what we can do about our previous operation of taking over New York." the voice said as Tombstone nodded her head. "Yes. Kingpin,"
