had a long post and then ran out of steam so um basically despite their hostility for each other tori and tsukasa still try to support each other in their own way if the other is struggling and have influenced each other to grow in some way. they also do happen to fit tropes that make them fun together like the childhood friends, rivals to lovers, prince x princess and the constantly bickering but actually fond of each other. umm if i get the energy back later i could try to find receipts but yea✌🏽

Hmm yeah I see all those tropes... I guess I've seen a little bit of the support you mentioned, but mostly from Tori for Tsukasa. That might be because I spend all my time in Tori's circle, though. And then, Tori using Tsukasa as an unwitting bounceboard/practice for Secret Swan... But I still read 0 affection in it. Familiarity and maybe a sort of comfort and trust, I guess? Hum... Anyways, I'd really like receipts, when you have the capacity.

the mayoi-aira duo to me is like. mayoi and her emotional support hamster / the "taking the prince of darkness out for a walk" meme but like slightly to the left. does this make sense.

NO YOURE SO RIGHT they are just a very scared goth teen and her emotional support tiny blonde thing. frightened creature and little hamster who drags her out to social events
