Orion and Andromeda may have too much time on their hands.

Paperface started as a way for them to work around their mom's weirdly strict rules regarding their use of social media and just snowballed from their.

They're fairly popular for their dance routines and are known for sneaking into increasingly insane places to do their videos as well as randomly popping up as people's back up dancers on the street.

They've even got some politicians to play the game with them, their video with Mayor Manx being their most popular.

Mayor Manx is not only surprisingly social media savy but also pretty light on his feet for an older cat.

My headcanon of the families of the Swat Kats characters! part 1!

(not all because the majority are extras and some I just didn't have any ideas for, like Pastmaster and Dr. Viper)

Last week I made some drawings of what I think the families of five Swat Kats characters look like, the order may seem a bit random but the explanation is a bit confusing and it's not necessary at all to understand this post, anyway, let's get started!

1) Chance "T-bone" Furlong!

Ancestral!

Ruby, was one of the great knights of Megalith Kingdom (kingdom because for me it matches more than City) but his reason for wanting to be a knight was not very noble, since he only wanted to be a knight to be close to a certain kat~ he was and is remembered as a strong and resilient warrior, and there is a large tapestry of him in the museum, next to his sword

Amora Furlong, Chance's mother, is a polite and calm kat who lives in Mega Kat City since her husband passed away, Amora only gets stressed when it comes to her son, whether when he was a child, and read comics for free from Pop Perkins, or adult, who almost had a heart attack when he mistook T-bone for Chance

2) Jack "Razor" Clawson!

Sapphire, one of the knights of Megalith Kingdom, intelligent and cunning, surprised many by fighting so well despite being blind in one eye, he is Ruby's best childhood friend, and once he and Ruby were almost killed by Pastmaster, but a kat saved them, there is a large tapestry of him in the museum, next to his sword

Jaqueline and Bob, divorced because Bob wanted a family but Jaqueline didn't, they already had three children, the first was aborted, the second stayed with Bob after the divorce and the third stayed with Jaqueline, and that was Jack.

Jack had a very troubled childhood, as he was clearly a nuisance to his mother, but until he was ten, Jaqueline treated him well, and Jack was always congratulated when he fixed the TV.

but as time went by, Jack was more aside, as if he didn't exist, as if he wasn't important anymore, and it was true, but the day Jack joined the Enforcers and didn't even receive a congratulations from his mother, he freaked out. he screamed and talked about how he mother wasn't a mother, and just a woman without a child, because Jack hadn't existed for her for a long time... but she didn't have time to respond, she fainted... Jack took her to the hospital to discover she had lung cancer.

Jack stayed awake nights, next to the bed where his mother was... This was already hindering his efforts at Enforcers, but fortunately, Feral gave him a break until his mother was better.

After a while, Jaqueline recovered, and wanted to do something for Jack, but Jack just said "just don't smoke, please"

and Jack's older sister, it was a little complicated, after so much mental abuse from Bob, Angela, ran away from home.

Angela, after running away, was finally able to do what she always wanted, meet Razor, since she was sure the hero was her brother, and well, the rest is history...

3) Callie Briggs!

Callista, needs no introduction, is the widowed queen who made magic admired not abhorred, and had her life tormented by Pastmaster, the wizard who so wanted to marry her, and fortunately, she can rest without this kat by her side, in the museum, besides her crown, the remnants of her powerful necklace

Arthur and Violeta Briggs! There's not much to say about them, they are Callie's loving parents, who fought hard to have the money they have nowadays, and one thing, Violeta is blind.

4) Ulysses Feral!

Joynia Feral! The Megalith Kingdom's number one knight! and with a secret passion for Callista, and Ruby and Sapphire's teacher, she is known for her violence and resistance, not to mention her leadership and loyalty, it is not known who the love of Joynia's life was, but apparently she once had an affair with Ruby~ At the museum, her tapestry and sword are on display along with an apparent gift given by her love, a necklace with the initials of her name.

Berdron and Jéssica Feral, a couple who live in a country town, and had two children, Berdron taught them self-defense and put it in their heads to enlist in the Enforcers, but Jessica was afraid of what might happen to her boys, but her opinion didn't have much effect, and the boys followed that dream, enlisting in the Enforcers

Lastly, and certainly least important...

5) Mayor Manx!

King Maxaoel was the king of Megalith, until he died from lightning during a storm, some accuse Pastmaster of having caused that lightning to fall on the king, to leave the queen a widow, but during his lifetime, he, in addition to protecting his kingdom, also had the court jester, Madkat, arrested, not to mention anything of the king in the museum

Unlike Blue Manx, he was remembered by his great-grandson for quite some time, as his help during the war was more than great.

Alejandra Manx, is Manx's grandmother, who took care of Manx and his sister after their parents fled and to this day their whereabouts are unknown.

Alejandra is very proud of her father, Blue, who after the war moved to a city in Mexico, and lived there until his death. Alejandra told her father's stories to her grandchildren, and because of this, Manx moved to Mega Kat City, to create a life in the place where his great-grandfather saved

Now Estrella Manx wasn't much affected by the stories of her great-grandfather, but when her brother became mayor, she quickly asked for some of his money, and with that money, she travels, goes shopping, among other things.

Swat Kats: Madkat

My favorite one-episode baddie from SK is Madkat without a doubt. The hardest part of this piece was creating the playing cards for Mayor Manx, Callie Briggs, Commander Feral and David Litterbin

SWAT Kats daemons

Another set of daemons drabbles, for the other main fandom I’m in besides Megamind :) 

This one was an interesting challenge. It’s already a stretch applying the daemons concept to a non-human cast (I avoided using any cat species, for one thing), but also, several of these characters are some form of undead, and it was fun to think about how that would play out with their daemons, and the overall setting. I think it turned out okay, though. 

If anyone wants to add to this, and include characters I didn’t cover here, feel free!

Ever since he was a child, Chance’s daemon has favored the shape of a bird. A sparrow when he felt curious, a gull when his mind wandered, a fierce shrike when he got into fights – it didn’t matter, as long as she could take to the air. When she finally settled into the form of a red-tailed hawk, Chance took it as a sign that his dream of becoming an Enforcer pilot was sure to come true. She was disappointed to find she couldn’t keep up flying alongside a jet (not that it stopped her from trying more than once), but she’s learned to put up with riding inside. It’s worth it to share in her owner’s dream, and to feel the thrill of flying higher and faster than she ever could on her own wings.

Jake’s daemon, a brown capuchin, is a little more at home in the cockpit. She’s quick to help her owner, pushing buttons and flipping switches with her nimble little hands, and slipping down into the weapons bay for last-minute adjustments (she’s just as useful in the garage too, fetching tools and adjusting the radio at Jake’s direction). Indeed, it’s rare to see her sitting still, and just as rare to see her sad or worried: when they were exiled to the salvage yard, she groomed Chance’s heartbroken hawk daemon to comfort her, and when she huddled miserably in Jake’s lap after he believed he’d injured two civilians, his friend knew how deeply it affected him.

Both daemons do their best to help their owners keep their identities secret. They stay out of direct combat when they can, and never let the press film them or hear their voices. So far, it seems to be working (it helps that “a brown monkey” and “some kind of hawk” are pretty common as daemons go), but some of the SWAT Kats’ allies do wonder…

Callie’s daemon is a roe deer. He’s small and graceful, more cute than majestic, and that suits Callie just fine; she’s not trying to draw attention to herself. When backed into a corner, though, he’s a surprisingly fierce fighter, striking out with flinty hooves and sharp little antlers. He’s also one of the few daemons that’s spent time up close with the hawk and capuchin (even letting them perch on his back after a particularly hard fight with the latest villain), and while his owner may not know that her heroes and her mechanics are one and the same, he does.

Manx’s daemon is a snowshoe hare. Her lovely white coat and bouncy, outgoing nature make her look good to the press, and help distract voters from how skittish she truly is (the image of her cowering behind the legs of Callie’s deer daemon has stuck in a few minds). Manx doesn’t care, though. He knew by the time she settled that he wasn’t cut out for a more “heroic” daemon – and besides, out on the course, she’s very helpful at retrieving lost golf balls.

Feral’s daemon is a German shepherd, large and commanding like her owner. She’s quick to bark at threats, and quick to give a scolding nip to the daemon of any Enforcer recruit who steps out of line. (This doesn’t work, however, on Felina’s peregrine falcon daemon, who’s long since learned to dodge and swoop fast enough to keep out of range.) She’s also not the easiest daemon to fit in a jet, which is one reason her owner favors a chopper. But in the end, she’s a brave fighter, a fierce protector, and Feral wouldn’t trade her for anything.

Dark Kat’s daemon is a raven – a dark, croaking carrion bird with a fiendishly clever mind. Like her owner, she prefers to stay out of direct combat and fight her enemies with trickery, but her sharp talons and strong beak can do some damage if she gets the drop on an opponent (she nearly took out the eyes of T-Bone’s hawk when they grappled in Dark Kat’s volcano lair).

The Pastmaster’s daemon is a bird that the people of Megalith City called an ‘iris jay’, a more colorful (and more vicious) relative of the magpie. She slept alongside him for eight hundred years, lying protectively close to his watch (right over where the immortal sorcerer’s heart used to be). When the two of them woke in the modern day, they learned that her species had been hunted to extinction since the Dark Ages; ever since then, she’s been yet another reminder of how urgently he wants to return Megakat City to the past.

Elrod Purvis’ rat snake daemon died when he did, writhing in agony at the foot of the stairs as her owner succumbed to the shock of the mutagen. The mutation that later revived him did not change that. As a consequence, Dr. Viper has no daemon, and it’s this, more than his reptilian appearance, that makes him so disturbing to normal kats. (He’d never admit it, but part of Viper does miss her. It’s one reason he likes to keep a mutant creation or two close at hand – they’re a poor, twisted substitute for a daemon, but they’re better than nothing.)

Mac and Molly Mange were luckier. Hackle’s robots managed to find them before the last spark of life had left their bodies, and the old professor’s snowy owl daemon helped guide their fast-fading jackal and fisher cat daemons to her owner’s laboratory. Through some miracle (even Hackle doesn’t know how she managed it), she was able to share some of her own essence with them, and keep them alive just long enough for her owner to complete the brain transfer process. When Mac and Molly woke up as the Metallikats for the first time, their daemons were there to greet them.

(And it’s because of this that Hackle cannot bring himself to destroy the Metallikats. His daemon gave life to theirs – in a very real sense, they are his children. Even when the Metallikats are deactivated, their daemons lying comatose in a silver-mesh cage at Enforcer Headquarters, Hackle and his daemon feel that connection, and know that they always will.)
