Thank you for your response.The Florida League of Cities should have been utilized as the first choice. The City (we) are a member. Obviously this was the City Managers choice to not use. Parrott is a misogynist, oligarch that has decimated our City. His power eroded with Hammock moving on and away from this vicious buzzard.

Parrott illegally fired Kassandra and is going to pay dearly. Parrott maliciously fired Stacy and likewise. Look at the front row of the City Council meeting. There sits the representative of the City's Liability Insurer, trying to figure out how much his company is going to loose over Parrott malicious and devastating actions. 

I did not move here to spend time fighting this manipulating Buzzard. Fire Parrot's damn ass and now ! Stop this buzzard from making any more staff appointments that we don't need and cannot afford.

We don't need the TOD sales  gent, nice guy but can't write letters (?) Has Parrott ever heard of "WORD".Expert ?, I don't think so. Make Annette the TOD go to sales/person. When she is in a good mood, she smiles, is smart and looks pleasant. This is not a high pressure technical sale to the developers. You meet with prospective developers,tell them our story,and write them a letter and create an action file for each.Hatch can do that job.

This job is get the attention, interest and desire of the developers and work hard seeing more folks. It surely isn't nuclear science. She is not just a cute sales secretary.She is bright and I believe has degree in something. Sales secretary went out the door twenty years ago when I learned to use WORD and ATT mail and follow up my own correspondence. 

Undo the Parrott City devastation. Fire Parrott now ! We need to hire a new assistant City Manager and a new City clerk and a select a new City Manager and make sure that he is vetted so we don't get a reject like Parrott again.

If you know what the hell you are doing, you will abort the stupid idea of a sole source contract with David Hamstra and his company for storm water management. That will surely invoke claims of kickback just like in Washington D.CO. You ever hear the word, KICKBACKS ? We grew up In D.C. I can tell some stories about power corrupting. Hamstra is a nice guy. He doesn't need people whispering to each other and making accusations.

Get a second bidder and possible third and request quotes and stop the idea of screwing the Debary City taxpayers. Cut the funds for storm water fees that you are considering by 50%, to $ 96.00 not $192.00. You folks need get your minds off Red Neck Table Gambling and fake Horse racing in Debary. If you want to bring a Circus Circus Quality Resort with tables etc, then get our land owners to work on that venue.

This City Council needs to give the current and effectively fired City Manager some direction. Cut off Parrot's powers and fire his butt and Now !.

Drink the kool-aid

Received 5/7/15 @ 2.13PM: Mayor Johnson, I read a very good and important quote about tolerance on your Facebook page earlier today- "Tolerance isn't about not having beliefs, it's about how your beliefs lead you to treat people who disagree with you." -Tim Keller Please read this quote before the next city council meeting as a reminder how your constituents and other speakers who take the time to attend our city's meetings should be treated, (regardless of what "side" they are on), and particularly when the media is in attendance and news cameras are rolling. Turning the meeting into an attempt at a stand up comedy routine was not impressive, in fact you came across as discourteous and flippant. We have never met, and this was the first meeting I have attended a council meeting with you as mayor, and I was a little taken aback and embarrassed for DeBary last night by some of the remarks and sarcasm coming from behind the council desk, most of which came from you, (not to mention the outbursts of certain "adult" audience members.) I understand you are new to this position and it will take time for you to learn what works and what doesn't. Please practice "walking the walk" of a public servant and if you are unsure what that looks like, take some cues from the "older" guys and gal sitting next to you who conducted themselves with good sense and good manners while asking relevant, thoughtful, questions and exercising courtesy to the people at the podium; many of their questions were ones on my list as well and I was pleased they did the asking, even if the answers were sometimes evasive. Each of you sitting behind that desk was elected to represent the city that I have lived in and supported for 30+ years, and it is my sincere hope at some point you will work as a team and make me proud to support each and every one of you. Most of you earned that respect last night with your thoughtful questions and professional conduct. Strive to be the example others can proudly follow, keep your personal "feelings" to yourself, and lead our City in a good, positive direction for the families who live here and support it. Our children are watching and will feel the effects of policies you put into place during your tenure. Treating and speaking to others as you wish to be treated and spoken to, should be standard policy.
