i think sicko is a juvenile term however criticizing alice walker to a standard of disgusting antisemitism isn't....unjust

I’m not saying we shouldn’t criticize her, we absolutely should, and her poem absolutely should not have been published. When she praises David Ickes in interviews it should lead to a discussion and there should be Jewish voices (Black Jewish voices IMO) in the room. 

But we should always be uncomfortable when white people, even white Jews, throw names and insults at black women, and I think there’s room in this conversation to hold Alice Walker’s work, her books but also her incredibly important theory, in regard and in esteem while also criticizing her for actively promoting Jewish conspiracy theories yknow?

i have generally bad perception of bigger things but i’m really good at remembering tiny details like a childhood story someone told me or like a random fact about someone. i’m also bad at remembering names when i first meet someone, but once i relearn their name i will probably never forget it. my memory is 100% selective and very weird tbh

GOD i dont know i honestly like all ice cream flavors. not exactly a flavor but i rly fuck with ben & jerry’s cores flavors, those jawns are so good. i do particularly like chocolate and cake batter tho

i can’t stand it!!!! i made a post on facebook bc long story but there was a referendum on campus to divest from companies that have especially awful human rights abuses and naturally it included some israeli companies so hillel dropped everything in the middle of purim to create a whole huge campaign to vote against the referendum that included literally bribing people

but like.. they paid no attention to the fact that it would be divesting from companies that abuse indigenous rights and prisoner’s rights and stuff like that too 

so i was upset and i got messaged from like half of hillel staff wanting to have ‘a talk’ with me about how they can be more inclusive. like. first off, stop claiming to be apolitical and inclusive and then sending kids to aipac every year
