Marinette Greyson

First off I want to say a big thanks to everyone for being a big support. In this part I will try to go in to more of the bat family members but it might just be Dick and baby Mari. There are more parts that I’m planning, for later of course. Now, let’s get started!

Papa Dick and Baby Marinette

The only person that dick had told about adopting a baby girl was Alfred, I mean it wasn’t like he wouldn’t find out on his own. Alfred was excited about the whole idea but not very surprised, he raised Bruce so it made sense. At the moment only them two knew about the whole thing and both came up with a plan to not tell Bruce until later. They thought that he might have forbidden it due to their vigilante duties.

To keep the baby as hidden as possible, he moved into one of the farther rooms in the manor and claimed the room next to it as his for a nursery. While everyone was busy he would go in there and decorate, he thought he was doing a good job until Tim caught him sneaking diapers into the room. Next thing he knew he had Tim calling dibs on honorary uncle.

He, Alfred, and Tim would all take turns on the decoration for the nursery. Now when Jason found out, he thought he was going crazy, like Bruce crazy. He didn’t disagree with him but it did take a bit more convincing than Tim. He got baby knight, and uncle privileges. Once Marinette was older, he would be the one, other than dick, to teach her self defense. Now all four of them knew and the day that everything was ready, they all covered for Dick sense he was gone for most of the day.

When Dick arrived at the orphanage, he knew the majority of people that worked there, he spent some of his time there volunteering to help out. After a couple of hours, he and babynette were ready to leave. But before he left one of the people there told him how he got there and he felt his heart break. It was painful and even though she didn’t understand, it would still hurt her when she was older. But once they told him that it was her first birthday, he knew he wouldn’t be home for a while.

Even though he had clothes for her at home he still took her shopping. They didn’t go back home until much later, the rest of his family were on patrol. It was a bit challenging to get Marinette to sleep because she was a very energetic baby, but he remembered what he did to calm her down when they saved the orphanage. He sat down with her on his rocking chair that Jason had gotten him and began singing to her, in a few minutes she fell asleep. Soon he found himself dozing off as well.

He woke up to babynette poking his cheek. He opened his eyes and she gave him a small smile and giggle, to which he returned. He let her play on his lap while he properly woke up. He couldn’t go to the kitchen with the baby, Bruce could be there, so he sent Alfred a quick text to bring him her formula. Moments later there was a knock on the door, it was Alfred, he brought him the baby formula and his breakfast. He told him that he would be back as soon as Bruce left for the office.

He sat her in her small baby chair while he sat on the floor and ate his his food. Once he was done there was another knock on the door, he opened it thinking it was Alfred but instead he came face to face with a tired Tim and an annoyed Jason. He let them pass and introduced them to his baby.

Tim came in to tell Dick about Bruce’s schedule so he could eventually take her around the manor and introduce her to the girl’s and Duke. When they were in the middle of their conversation they were interrupted by what sounded like two people laughing. They turned around and their eyes widened at the sight of Jason playing with babynette

He was laying on his back and she was on his stomach and laughing at the goofy faces he was making and all the silly sounds that he made. Once he realized that Tim and Dick were quiet, he turned his head and saw that they were staring at him. He gave them a ‘frick off’ expression (I’m not allowed to cuss yet). Tim and Dick went back to what they were doing and Jason went back to making himself look like a dork.

Most of their time that day they spent it in the nursery playing with babynette. They left the room once it was time for her nap. They went into the living room when they saw Cass, Stephanie, Duke, and Barbara. All looking like they knew something.

‘This is gonna take a long time’ though Dick.

I will try to update this today later on because I won’t be able to tomorrow and I want to get that part out before I can move on, she has to meet everyone. Maybe I can at least get out a few headcanons but no promises. Hope you all have a wonderful day, goodbye 😊. Tim's paper saying that his "disorder" is aggravated by talking... Aughhh . .. AUGHH.. Masky and Hoody being quiet makes so much sense and I love them so much and I'm just Soo auhhh...

Just like anything else, Brian had to be shown and taught that it's bad and makes their condition worse,, I love early Hoody with Masky just doing random shit. They've always been there.. from the beginning.. sigh..

Masky must have taught Brian ALLLLL about everything since MASKY is the one who was dealing with it for Tim and he has to know how to make things better I just ...

The whole "everything is fine, everything is normal --" thing is THEIRS. It's THEIRS. I don't accept criticism.

Brian most likely remembering everything is fucked up btw !!! He never - or barely - showed any signs of memory loss while also reminding Tim and Jay that he does in fact remember them AND what's been going on.

It really makes me wonder if him and Tim/Masky had some kind of agreement that if Tim was to forget, he HAS to drag him back. For the greater good. Every time. Because that's what he does !!

He used to just, offer the mask for Tim to take, but he was slowly losing his patience and then Tim had the AUDACITY!!!!! To work with someone else but not HIM!!!!!

After everything HE was not worth remembering.

HE was not worth his help, but JAY was.
