I can’t stop thinking about just how CLOSE Jay got to making it out alive. I can’t stop thinking about just HOW much bs he went through, all the struggle to get to where he was only to be overcome all in a moment of fear and make one Big mistake and it’s all over. Like, don’t get me wrong, all the characters have been through some shit because of the Operator, but Jay’s death really hits because you see him at two different stages of the investigation - when he’s deteriorating and when there’s hope.

His team up with Tim, that felt like the Big Moment, yknow? The Big Moment where the protagonist would begin to rebuild hope after being beaten down and for a little bit, it Was but nothing’s ever THAT easy, and the Operator becomes too much for Jay. He really wanted to trust Tim, and he did, but in a moment of anger over being lied to mixed in with an unhealthy dose of at his wit’s end, it just, all goes downhill.

Jay was so SO close to making out of the series alive because of Tim and Alex’s soon to be show down, but he just couldn’t.

He fought, and he hoped, but it wasn’t enough :(

Can someone who's in the Marble Hornets/ creepypasta fandom, please explain what happened in Marble Hornets? I just finished and im really confused? Like what happened to Tim? And the others are just moving on? Is there a part 2? What do I need to watch next? Help?
