Aye, aye, sir! 🫡
Hii, usually i just lurk in the comments but i'm really REALLY loving the terry bruce content!! I would like to humbly request more possessive batkids, and them just ragebaiting each other
Also Bruce is happy as a clam. His kids want to be around him? Best day of his life, he's oblivious to any hostility going on
But in an alternative way, maybe some angst? Terry having made himself part of Bruce's everyday while the other kids have been mad at him/moved out/just out of contact?
Anywayyyy love all your content, please continue to show Bruce all the love, it's hard out here trying to find bruce centric stuff <3
Uuuuh Sir Lotus, that's so funnn
Tim crumbled yet another newspaper between his hands, a growl pulling itself out of his throat.
"Mister Drake?"
"Wayne!" Tim turned to glare to his advisor. "Drake-Wayne! Why the FUCK does everyone keep forgetting the hyphen!?"
"Uh... I- ok? I'm... Sorry?"
"God!" He crumbled forward, hiding his head under his forearms.
"Sir. I'm sorry to interrupt... Whatever is going on here... But-" Tim lifted his eyes just enough to keep glaring. Mich visually shuddered "Ehem! BUT! You have a meeting with Mister Wayne at twelve o'clock, and if you don't get ready-"
"Let him have lunch with his new favorite!" He hid his face once more.
Mich counted to ten. Then to twenty. Remembering his payroll. All over some photos. He sighed and leaned to grab the abused Daily Planet's issue. Tim had gone through every single newspaper, torturing himself over and over, looking at the pictures, reading the interview, whining at every word. Mich had to convince him that firing the entire Gotham Gazette was a tyrannic move that would leave Bruce Wayne deeply disappointed. He had been using the "your dad won't be happy with this" card way too often, since the arrival of Terrence McGinnis.
Mich hummed at the picture. The beaming face of the lost and found biological son of a billionaire, the other man with an amazing fatherly smile, free arm over Terrence's shoulders as they signed the documents that legally linked them as father and son. He carefully dragged his nail over James Olsen name at the foot of the image, tearing the paper with care, begging his boss hadn't seen it already. Poor soul just doing his work.
"Your brothers didn't seem to mind that mu-" Tim was fully seated. His cold eyes staring at Mich's. "Sorry, sir." He looked down as Tim stood up and walked out the office. "Sir?! Where-?"
"To get lunch with MY dad"

"Please tell me you're not betraying me"
Barbara lifted an eyebrow, turning to see Dick standing on the arch between the kitchen and living room. She scoffed, turning towards the tv and grabbing the remote to turn the volume up.
"ON MY OWN HOME?!"
Barbara ignored him, leaning on her fist, smiling lovingly to the man laughing on the screen. Bruce laughed openly as Terry hugged him with teary eyes. Barbara knew the laugh was honest.
"That's so fake. He's so fake" Barbara frowned, muting the tv and turning back to her boyfriend. "Ok. Maybe not. BUT COME ON!" Dick open hand pointed at the images on screen. "Also, how is that newsworthy?"
"You mean the news of the charming billionaire forever bachelor taking in the well over 20s year old son he didn't know he had and immediately accepting him under his last name?" Dick blinked, amused at the way Barbara didn't even look out of breath. "Yeah. No idea. I guess people like to read the yellow press," she shrugged "it distracts them from the horrors of their daily lives."
Dick slowly sat down, as if having an epiphany. Barbara smirked.
"Whatever you're planning" she kissed his cheek "leave it for after your lunch with B. You're already late"
"Oh, shoot!" He ran towards their bedroom "What would I do without you?!"
Barbara just rolled her eyes in response.

"Jay"
"..."
"Jason."
"..."
"Oh, for fucks-" Stephanie jumped from her seat and kicked the man on his chin. Jason yelled and bent forward to grab his leg.
"What is WRONG WITH-?!" A kick to his other chin made him crumble over the couch with a pained yelp.
"Look," she crouched in front of him, ignoring his glare "I love being dramatic just as much as the next gal, but even for MY standards your being a little - HEY DON'T YOU DARE ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME! - a little bitch, as I was saying"
Jason huffed, raising himself up and scratching the back of his head.
"Are you coming?"
Stephanie blinked at him, before waving her hand around "Oh, no no no. I don't wanna be part of the scene you guys are going to make. No no, I have DIGNITY"
He laughed, stretching his back, making his shoulders pop.
"Fair. I thought you would go for the free food."
"What?"
"You know, the-"
"No. I got that... Jason. You do know I hang out with Bruce weekly, right?"
"What?"
"Jesus fuck. You guys need serious therapy."
"What?"
"Just leave, dude! I'll teach you how to ask him on a father-daughter date without making a fool out of you another day"
"I-"
"Speaking of daughters" she lifted her foot over the couch. "Cass already left"
"WHAT?!"
Stephanie kicked her boots off, crossing her legs on the couch backrest.

Cassandra buried her nose deeply on Bruce's neck. Inhaling his warmth. Almost two months. Terry's welcome to the family wasn't the only thing they were celebrating.
"Is that an option...?"
"No."
"Yes." Bruce's chest rumbled with his answer. Cass loved how deep her dad's tone got whenever he was just being their father. "I'm open for hugs whenever any of you want one, Terry"
She lifted her eyes just enough to see Terry's blinding smile and Damian's pout.
"That includes baby D" she smiled without letting go of her father's shoulders. Damian just humphed and crossed his arms. Cassandra gave a complicit smile at Matt, as the kid covered his mouth with both hands not to laugh.
She reluctantly let go of her father to sit on her seat at the table, but before she could fully lower herself, Bruce smiled at her with that glowing smile that made his eyes crescent.
"I missed you, my girl"
And she was back into his arms.
"Oh come on! I want a hug as well!" She laughed against the chest.
"Wait your turn. I met her first, so of course she's hugging me first. Right, Cain?"
"You would have to unglue her from dad's arms, first." Matt giggled.
God. She loves her family.
--
"Do you think they'll -?"
"Baba," Damian said with a serious tone that conflicted with his image sitting over Bruce's lap "of course they'll come. Their jealousy won't allow them to let the McGinnis have a solo lunch with you"
"It's not solo, you and Cass are-"
"Baba"
"Ok"
Cass giggled, accepting the meat Terry was handling her.
"They ARE taking a while, tho" Matt mumbled, playing around with his food. "At this point, we are basically eating on our own- OUCH!"
Terry frowned at him, lifting an eyebrow and pointing towards Bruce with his head.
"Oh. I mean-"
"They'll come, B. They also miss you"
Cass nodded "Too long. They'll come"
Bruce tried to smile. He looked at the clock on the other side of the private room, sighing. 12:45. He looked at the concerned faces in front of him. He tried to smile.
He opened his mouth to speak.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ASKED ME FOR A LIFT, TOOK MY BIKE AND LEFT WITHOUT ME!!" Jason stormed inside, pointing towards Cassandra.
Bruce blinked at his second. Cassandra shrugged, smiling.
Jason froze, looking at the siblings sitting at both sides of Cassandra.
"Uhm... Uh." He looked around. "Welcome to the family, I guess?"
Terry stared a few seconds, before smirking at the awkward man.
"All those books in the house and that's the best you came with?"
"What does that have to do with-?"
"You basically have the National Library on the manor and you are short of words"
"... Ok. That's absurdly insulting for some reason"
"Go say hi to your dad"
Jason flinched at that, slowly turning from his siblings towards Bruce and Damian.
Damian narrowed his eyes at him. A threat. Jason shook his head, and walked towards the pair.
"Hey pops." Bruce looked up at him. Still surprised. Jason frowned. He was surprised that he came. He closed his eyes and breathed. He opened them again and leaned forward. Pushing away with one hand the screeching teen, a loud thud as Damian hit the ground. Bruce momentarily made an attempt to catch him, freezing when Jason's arms surrounded his shoulders. "Missed you".
A couple of seconds passed before Bruce returned the hug. Jason closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling, even in their awkward positions.
He flinched when he felt a soft shakiness on Bruce's shoulders.
"Oh fuck. You broke him"
He pushed Bruce back, wide eyed at his father's face. Red nose and teary eyes, trying hard to contain those tears inside.
"Pops?" He worriedly asked.
And that made it. Bruce covered his mouth as an embarrassing sob left him.
"Oh shit. Oh shit. What do I do?" He turned around, Matt was open-mouthed. Terry, the little shit, covered his smirk with his hand. Cassandra just smiled, proud and soft... Damian's eyes seemed to say "you're fucking dead again, Todd".
Jason looked from their siblings to his father. Panicking.
"So- rry" Bruce sniffed. Jason grabbed a bunch of napkins on his fist, and pressed them against Bruce's nose. He ignored Terry's snickering. "I thought..." Bruce mumbled behind the paper "I thought you wouldn't come..."
Jason could only stare as Bruce cleaned his nose, trying to regain his stoicism. He could only sigh. Bruce is a stupid man, but they're definitely at fault as well.
He thought for a second about his word choice. Definitely not still irked by Terry's remark. And-
"Sorry we're late! But look at the little bird I found on the- holy. Tati what's happening?"
Jason grumbled, grabbing more napkins for Bruce's impending new wave of sobs.
Something something nightmare comforting blue, something something.. nightmare staining everything he touches..
