Hah most supportive family member my ass. If you're so supportive why do you refuse to use my pronouns,
hello! sorry if this is rude but how do reflexive pronouns that dont end in ____self work? /gen
Hi! The English language as we know it makes using any noun-self pronouns really confusing and difficult! So reflexive, non-noun-self pronouns are a bit trickier to remember how to use, and to use in every day speech.
I decided to try and write up a little... tutorial(?) for how to use noun-self and non-noun-self pronouns, using the gendered pronoun 'he' as a sort of guide, the noun-self pronoun 'glitch' and the non-noun-self pronoun of 'vibrant.'
I'm not entirely sure if this is what you were asking, but I thought it might be helpful, still.

He/him/his/himself:
Who, him? His name is Kax. He likes to talk to himself. Don’t bother him while he’s coding, he’ll get angry.
Glitch/glitch/glitches/glitch's/glitchself:
Who, glitch? Glitch’s name is Kax. Glitch likes to talk to glitchself. Don’t bother glitch while glitches coding, glitch’ll get angry.
vi/vibe/vibrance/vibrant:
Who, vi? Vibrance name is Kax. Vi likes to talk to vibrant. Don't talk to vibe while vi's coding, vi'll get angry.
potential responses to people asking for my pronouns and reasons why i don’t want to use them:
“she/her” - i don’t want to misgender myself
“he/they” - i don’t want to out myself
“i don’t know” - also kind of outs me bc a cis person would know
*saying nothing* - i seem rude bc it’s a simple question that i should be able to answer / i’m worried i seem like one of those “i don’t use pronouns” people
Sometimes I hate using multiple pronoun sets. On one hand, using just about any pronoun that doesn’t match my gender presentation is going to make me feel funky fresh. On the other hand, when people exclusively use one set for a really long time it feels kind of gross and I hate correcting people, especially when the correction is something that’s not really simple. So I complain on tumblr dot com instead
Me for the past 20 minutes: he/she/they,,, he/she/they,,, he/she/they,,, he/she/they,,,
When I’m filling out a form or in a group and i get asked my gender and pronouns, I feel like it’s a trap. Like they want me to be honest and be all “nonbinary” and “they/them” but then at the last seconds it’s gonna be “Ha! We tricked you! Go to gender jail!”
I accidentally put this on my wrong account but this is what's up.
Me: I want to use pronouns that aren't she/her
Society: Okay so pick some pronouns that aren't she/her
Me: no
