Are all your MCs named after pop culture references?

Not all, but most. My first couple MCs were named after baby names I didn't get to use, but my baby name lost wasn't that long 🤣 so I had to pick another naming. TRR was a combination of my old and new methods as it was my first MC (Eleanor after Eleanor of Aquitaine) that was a deliberate reference, but it was also one of the names from my list. After that, I picked more names that fit the theme of the book.

I have my horror trio of Prudence (TE), Phoebe (ILITW) and Piper (ILB). Beth (DS) is after the heroine in my favorite time travel romance, while Georgina (D&D) is the heroine in my favorite Regency romance. Jadzia in ATV was named after the incredible Jadzia Dax from DS9. My Queen B is Blair after the original Queen B and my ID MC is Buffy Summers.

I don't always go with a theme, sometimes I can't think of one that fits a theme, so I just pick a name that I like. Like WTD, I went with Allison because I didn't like any zombie related names (and it is not my favorite genre).

A Courtesan of Rome: Alexandra (I wished to ba*g Alexander in Alexandria but Alexander was never in the game :()

The Heist Monaco: Chase (I played it twice and named both guy and girl the same)

Desire and Decorum: Paige (God! I have a crush on the MC, she is that gorgeous)

HSS: Lars Alexanderson (Yup, Yup Tekken. You got it!)

Bachelorette Party: Paris Harrington (Distant wife of Beckett maybe... Lol)

Passport to Romance: Jay (I was too bored to think of a better name, not that Jay is bad!)

Big Sky Country: Ryder

The Elemetalists: Sabrina Spellman (I don't need to elaborate on this one...)

Mother of the Year: Paris Day (OH... Maybe I am a bit obsessed with the name 'Paris')
