Rodney is trying to convince Ronon to NOT touch his computer.

Lorne is trying to convince Zelenka to sell him his potatoes (they're playing Age of Empires together your honor).

John is trying to convince Teyla to drop the stick and go get breakfast instead.

Jack is trying really hard to understand what the hell Sam is talking about.

I enjoy putting characters I love in very mundane situations, because of reasons.

Part of me wonders if Ronon did this, not so much out of guilt for the village but because he blamed himself for Rodney being shot with the arrow.

Even in Sateda he doesn't listen to Sheppard until he hears that Rodney's there to rescue him and is very hurt he won't come with them.

Rodney didn't blame him and only wanted to help him and that means so much to Ronon. This is why Carson is jealous of their relationship.

I have a dream. It’s to invade all the french fandom of Stargate Atlantis with McDex. So far, I have 19 fanfictions written on that topic, in French. I have never been that much stimulated.

I was trying to find out the exact definition of a rarepair on Fanlore (as one does), which is understandably not precise numbers-wise, given that I imagine the number of say fics for a rarepair in a big vs small fandom would be very different.

But what I did find funny was the Stargate Atlantis mention, and a Rodney McKay ship at that (McDex). As someone who writes for an SGA ship about half that size (McLorne), it was funny to see a larger ship mentioned as an example rarepair.

Anyone have a definition for what they'd consider a rarepair? Or a ship you're fond of that earns that title?

McDex is so delicious to me because Rodney talks so much but says so little and Ronon talks so little but says so much.
