in my MCD rewrite Garroth’s real name is Gareth (part of why people don’t recognize him initially) and also people from O’Khasis (Zane, Ivy, etc) call him Gareth to sort of remind him of his duty but he’s adopted the identity of Garroth so now he only goes by that and responds to that

Katelyn called and referred to him as Gareth at first but she adjusted and switched over to Garroth

(i also think it’s a fun detail for any pdh or mystreet rewrite I might do where Ivy consistently calls him Gareth because of her speech impediment)

Man I feel like I'm 16 again. I really do. I feel genuinely excited and I'm so so so happy people are coming back to MCD with the rewrite.

I won't be kicking around as much since I'm a grown adult, outside maybe a joke or two, maybe a fic. But still. For all those who are watching mcd for the first time with the rewrite, really enjoy it. You'll see why all the older fans or fans who discover Jess through that are fiercely protective.
