VIKTOR NATION, HOW WE FEELING?
I went to MCM London this week (my first ever con) and omg I had so much fun, the Arcane fan meet was so chaotic but incredible, I met so many amazing people
The vest was made by myself, pattern from @/cospayton on Instagram, and the rest was stuff I already owned.
I also cosplayed Finn the human on Sunday!!
I guess it's tradition to do a Con Haul!
A non-binary Tardis (hardly saw any cool DW stuff on the Sunday so I had to grab this)
GO Coaster (IT'S SPARKLY), free badge, free ducky I was gifted and a little painted Aziraphale from the GO meet!
A STUNNING piece of Crowley fanart
My ticket on my lanyard, but the focus was the Give Me Coffee Or Give Me Death pin I also got at the meet (thank you guys!)
Crowley and Aziraphale printed onto an actual page from the book!!
Finally a huge Terry Pratchett printed onto a page of Going Postal, sidenote: they were JUST finished making this as I came back to the stall about 30 minutes after I bought the Crowley and Aziraphale and they were so sweet and gave me a discount! I got so lucky and it felt amazing that I got something that was purely Terry.
There was definitely so much more I haven't shown in this post but these are the things I appreciated the most, probably because most of them were gifts or just truly special to me
Posts will quiet down eventually about the con as usual, but I truly did ADORE my time there. Thank you for everyone I took pictures with and met about Good Omens, you made a rough week a great week!
He. Did. The. Crowley. Eyebrow.
Ps:
Arney (after Mr Arnold) has no respect for my con haul
MCM London October 2025 🦌📻😁
Well. I did it.
I just had a brilliant couple of days at MCM Comic Con in London, and finally met the genuinely kind and sweet Amir Talai, voice of my beloved Alastor. 🥰
He could not have been lovelier. I honestly had more I wanted to say to him i.e. how much I love Alastor as a character and how grateful I am to Amir for voicing him, but I didn't want to come across too gush-y, so instead we had a really nice chat about the UK and cons and him reassuring me to be excited instead of nervous! 😂
He wrote the below as well as his signature on my framed Alastor artwork (not drawn by me FYI), which made me squeal when I read it and I'll hold it close to my heart for a LONG TIME.
Of course, it wasn't just Amir who came to this con: we were lucky enough to have Christian Borle, Joel Perez and Krystina Alabado join too. While I couldn't afford to get autographs from all of them, I DID get to meet Christian, who was an absolute sweetheart as well and answered my question about how he felt about Vox being more in the spotlight for season 2.
He signed the below print, which is a shot from the trailer I'm absolutely obsessed with.
And today I went to the panel with all four of them attending, which was another really fun experience (Amir got emotional talking about his Broadway debut for Hazbin this week! 💔). I wanted to ask a question but sadly we ran out of time, but certainly not the end of the world.
I seriously cannot believe this has happened; it still doesn't feel real. I've been building up to it for so long, and now that it's happened, I'm not exactly underwhelmed but oddly chill about the experience? I think because I'd built up my eventual meet with Amir so much in my head, it was more relaxed than I expected it to be, but in a way that's better, as the main thing is the actors feel comfortable and know how much we appreciate them coming all the way to the UK for us. :)
Anyway, it's done, and I feel so lucky to have met who I've met over the last twelve months. Now the attention goes to SEASON 2 HYPE, and season 2 hype ALONE! So excited for the 29th!!!
Bit late but check out the apollo cosplay for mcm comicon yesterday (saturday) 🔥🔥
Kinda sad ill never see most of the people i spoke to again 💔💔 everyone was so cool and kind omg
Comic con was yesterday!! I loved it so much omg...
I DID finish making the cosplay at 2 am tho 💀
So basically this is how it went: ~220 photos that were asked of me (my ego is very large right now) I met two new people, I brought my old friends with me including my sibling and had such a lovely time. Immediately the bells on the shoes broke and the straps that held my actual DAWGS tore off but I persevered and had a lovely time :3
