It was almost time to leave for the school trip, and of course Honey had packed a week earlier. He had tried to go to sleep early in order to have as much energy as possible in the morning. Alas, the excitement was too much. Even though he was ready to leave at a moment’s notice and had quadruple checked everything to make sure nothing was missing, sleep refused to come. He had walked around his dorm room and had done various exercises until his body almost collapsed from exhaustion.
The boy almost missed the alarm coming from his phone in the morning. He got out of bed, bleary-eyed, and stumbled into the hallway with all of his things. Of course he had Bun-Bun and Chu-Chi in both hands, as it was impossible to forget to bring them. Not only that, but he made sure to prepare lots of snacks - mainly different chocolates and gummies - that were easy to access.
By the time Honey got to Mor-chan’s room, he was more alert. Energy was starting to seep into his veins, probably because of the cake he ate right after breakfast. It would’ve been a shame if he returned to his dorm and found a spoiled cake, so the sweets-lover ate all the cake he had left.
“Mor-chan, Mor-chan! Are you ready for the trip?” he called through the door as he knocked on it. A yawn promptly exited his mouth, but there would be plenty of time to nap on the bus ride there.
There was probably a rule against boys visiting the girls’ dorms, for obvious reasons, but Honey highly doubted he would get in trouble if they were supposed to leave soon anyways.
