Maggie swore that the moment Marty got out of the hospital and regained use of his hands, she was going to give him an earful. It should’ve been her day off but instead she had to come into the gym and pick up a few of Marty’s clients while the gym looked for an additional trainer. When she’d gone out to investigate the fog, she hadn’t just tried to pick it up. Ugh, Marty.
The first client of the day was some man named Caleb Myers. The name didn’t really ring a bell, must’ve moved to town while she was gone. Considering it had been 20 years that didn’t seem that unlikely. Marty’s notes said the man took training seriously and took pride in his body so at least she had that to look forward to.
“Good morning,” She said to the man who must be Caleb as he walked in, “Marty is out for the foreseeable future, so I’ll be picking up your workouts. Marty took pretty thorough notes. You’re still interested in maintaining the muscle you currently have?”
