Man, being stuck in Tappytoon Ennead hell sucks lmao. If I use a screen translator, can I easily enter my card information on Witch and buy the raws or would my overseas (USA) status block it?
You can use a screen translator, enter your card information on mcomics/Witchcomics' site, and buy the Korean raws as a US resident, no VPN or anything required. They allow US payment methods and accept US adult ID (if you want the 19+ stuff). For 19+ stuff, you'd need to get your ID approved before they let you access that part of the site, which can take about 12 or so hours (it depends). But otherwise, as long as you make an account (which is free), you can buy the 16+ episodes.
If you want access to 19+ episodes, after you've made a basic account, you can go to your account menu on the top right of the screen, open the drop down, and go to the icon with the headphones, which is the customer center. Go to the second tab, which says FAQ. The top question is "How do I verify my overseas adult status?" And all the instructions are there (you need to send the application in the third tab of the customer center, which is 1:1 inquiry):
::: Application Form :::
Witch Comics ID:
Name (English) / Date of Birth:
Attach an image of an ID card issued by the country of residence (e.g. passport, driver's license, residence permit, etc.)
The ID must show your English name, date of birth, gender, and expiration date.
Please cover up your photo and address before submitting your application.
Expired ID cards cannot be processed.
It's pretty similar to how Ridibooks does it, and there's a very helpful guide for buying books on Ridibooks here. The whole process (before the approval of your adult ID) takes about 5 minutes, max. If you're not used to buying stuff on foreign language websites, it can take an extra minute or so to get the gist of it the first time you've done it, but after that it's pretty easy. And while Mojito would prefer people use Witch (because she gets more money that way, as Witch is the original publisher, versus Ridibooks, who licenses it from Witch and also takes a cut), if it's easier to use Ridibooks, it's the same comic. Mojito's still getting money.
