I've built up this idea of a close Scotty-Spock friendship in my head, and now I'm thinkin that it would be very funny to have a spirk-and-scones fic where Kirk and McCoy instead come to the conclusion that Spock and Scotty are dating and start going through the five stages of grief together.

Scotty and Spock are just hanging out and talking about spaceships. :) They're having a blast. :)
